  1. Hello Everyone! an FYI in care any one wants to compare their status. I have received an email from NVC which was directed to my lawyer to pay the fees for my petitioners on May 13, 2015. My lawyer has paid the fees on line in June and now she is filling in the I-864 and the rest of the forms. My case is F1, PD is April 21, 2008. Since the visa numbers are moving on monthly basis now. I believe I will be current Mar, 2016. It might even jump sooner depending on the movement or slower.

  2. i think it`s to early

usually they sent COA a 6 month before planned date of interview, indeed now exactly 6 months before january 2008, but line is moving 2 weeks per calendar month.
so with speed of line moving of two weeks, persons with PD in start 2008 will receive COA during a one year at least

Hura I agree with you. The two weeks movement means that it will be at least a year for 2008 applicants to get processed and if the forms are sent six months before then it would be another six months before any applicants for Jan, 2008 will start receiving the COA forms. My daughter, FB1 with PD April 21, 2008, has not received any forms as yet either. Let us all keep each other updated through this forum when any one of us receive the forms. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all!!

  3. I agree with your sentiments! My PD is 21 Apr, 2008 for all countries and I too have not heard anything from NVC to start the process. Let us keep each other updated. Thanks for the support. Good Luck to everyone!

Just to let everyone know that my status F3 changed to F1 because my daughter's spouse passed away on 27 Nov, 2014. I have called NVC and they confirmed it.

  4. Just an update. I called NVC today and again the wait time was half an hour. I asked them about the category change status of my daughter from F3 to F1 and was told that it was processed and now her category shows as F1 as of Aug 27, 2014. The PD remains the same as Apr 21, 2008. I asked when will we be receiving the forms for the next step and was told that right now they are sending it for the applicants with PD of May 1, 2007 which does not sound right since these people should be getting their IL's now not the AOS and other documents. Any one has any idea as to approximately when NVC starts sending the COA and AOS to the applicants.

  5. Just FYI if any one wants to call NVC. The telephone number is 603-334-0700. The number shows busy a couple or more times, but if you keep hitting redial you will eventually reach the recording. After selecting the option you need you can be on hold for 30 to 40 minutes. That was my experience which I wanted to share with all the members. Thank you all for sharing too.

  6. Sorry to read about your son-in-law. The Priority Date movement varies every month. In last 12 months it has varied from 7 days to 30 days per month, so it is not so predictable. Oflate things have slowed down a lot, in last 6 months the average movement was 14 days per month only.

You can use these links for the predictions which are based on the past speed of the PDs.

Thank you G_One for your condolences and informational links, they are very helpful. I , least now, have some idea about approximate timings. I am still waiting to hear from NVC about their decision to change the category status from F3 to F1. I will be updating any new information as it comes along. Wishing you the very best with your case.

  7. Dear Members,

I am a petitioner for my daughter, her PD is 21 april 2008. She was married therefore her status was F3 when I filed I130 for her. An approval was granted on 12 May, 2014 and I received an NOA I-797 from USICS for the approval and a statement that the case was forwarded to NVC. Unfortunately her husband died in a car accident on June 19, 2014. I called NVC and was told that I need to send them a copy of the death certificate which I did on July 8, 2014. On August 12, 2014 I received an email acknowledging the receipt of my email with the document. The email stated that the case is under review for a category change. I was further told by a representative that with the category change her processing may be years sooner. Looking at the VB the current cut off date for F1 is at 1 May 2007. What would be the prediction cut off date for PD 21 april 2008? Also, when are the members with this priority date will be receiving their COAs and AOS? Thanks you for any feed back.
