  1. It is my understanding that you can only expedite if your husband received orders to PCS overseas or deploy, however, here is some information off of USCIS.gov: http://www.uscis.gov/archive/archive-news/frequently-asked-questions-immigration-information-members-us-armed-forces-and-their-families

    This may apply:

    Q. How can I expedite my Petition for Alien Relative (Form I-130) to bring my spouse to the United States? Is there any way she/he can enter the United States while the petition is being processed?

    A. Citizens of the United States, who are serving in the military and have a pending Petition for Alien Relative (Form I-130) on behalf of their spouse, may e-mail or telephone the USCIS military assistance team and ask for expedited processing of that petition. During that time, your spouse may enter the United States on a K-3 nonimmigrant visa. To get a K-3 visa, you must file a Petition for Alien Fiancé(é) (Form I-129F) on behalf of your spouse. An approved Form I-129F will allow your spouse to enter the United States. If USCIS approves the I-130 petition while your spouse is in the United States on a K-3 visa, she/he can file an Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (Form I-485) to become a legal permanent resident.

Thank you for your help. I checked out the link you post above and read your post carefully already. I'm confused that my case is now in NVC so is it right if I call or email to USCIS?

  2. Hello everyone,

My case is in NVC now. It will be completed around September 20th if without checklist.

After it is completed, I'm gonna request an expedite interview date with the reason that my husband is in U.S military.

I'm not sure that I can request or not so anyone knows or has a case same as mine then please let me know some information about:

    - Can I request an expedite interview?

    - If yes then how to request an expedite interview and is there any requirement about this?

    Thank you so much!

  3. I received NOA1 on July 10th 2014 and I'm still waiting my NOA2. I'm in checklist 2 times. The first time is because my husband forgot sending the form G325A (include my information). We're ok to send them and wait again. 63 days later, I received an email from USCIS, which I wish an approval but NO, they sent me an Request for evidence again. We were very curious about what they need us to provide. 10 days later, we received a mail from USCIS and they request my husband to send evidence to prove that my husband is an USC. I think they are so crazy when they request this because my husband sent his photocopy of passport already. But, we sent it again.

We have to wait until this May 20th to receive the news from them. I don't know what will I do if they send me RFE one more time but I hope they won't.

I can feel for you

  4. I know what the requirement says. I am just asking to get a basis of the situation. Good luck and others have stated send the birth certificate, make sure that is front and back...that you do need.

Maybe I jumped the gun and assumed he's a naturalized citizen. Maybe he isn't.

My husband is a naturalized citizen and he is a Marine. I thought our case is a type of special case and we ask for expedited process. The USCIS sent me an accept and what it happens is waiting 8 months. I have no idea when our case can get out of TSC

  5. As I tell you before, this is my second time I received the RFE from TSC.

Today my husband received an hardcopy which tells us to send them the proof that my husband is an USC.

Omg I have no words to say about TSC anymore.

My husband sent his passport in the I-130 package already. His passport can't prove that he is an USC?

A member of this forum said to me that when the TSC run out of time they just send a RFE asking for anything so they can reset the clock.

Now I can believe it's right and I feel like they are playing on us.

And I have a question: "What should I do now?".

Should I call them tomorrow to solve the problem or I have to send my husband's passport again and WAIT FOR 2 MONTHS AGAIN?

It's so good that my case has been in TSC for 8 months til now =.="

  6. Is it a new RFE or the same issue as the first one?

The "RFE" email is the same but just different date. Someone tells me that it's the same as the first (maybe a system error) but I think I need to wait for the mail which they will let us know what exactly they need us to add so that I can know why my case gets checklist. I really don't want this happens to us because it takes almost 2m15d to solve problem... Too tired ....

  7. It's my 8 months in TSC and I just received an "RFE" email last night. This is my second times that I received this. I have never heard about the case gets checklist for 2 times. They should request everything at once. OMG, I'm very sad and upset.

  8. I only got out of TSC after close to 7 months. I had a RFE for proof of bona fide marriage which is ridiculous because we sent it everything they asked for including our marriage license which happened inside the US! The TSC is full of #####. They are running behind so much and doing nothing to improve the situation. I hope you get your NOA2 soon, just hang in there.

I agree with you. The TSC works so slow and does many stupid things. I see many people complain about the way they work but time by time i don't see any change in their working way. I just can say we are so unlucky when our files was moved to TSC. :clock: :clock: :clock:

  9. No I don't think you will get another RFE because, first USCIS send me RFE email on Nov 15,2014. And meanwhile, when I was collecting the docs, my case status change to initial request of evidence on Dec 7. Like nov 15, the case status said request for evidence then on dec 7, it said initial request of evidence.

I thought the same thing that USCIS sent anther letter requesting more evidence. However, my father told me its the same letter. don't panic. good luck

Thank you for your sharing. I'll keep waiting and see what is going on :)

  10. In my case, after almost 5 and half months, TSC sent me RFE. I responded, and few days later my case got approved. they received RFE on Jan 6 and Jan 8, my case was approved.

I think, USCIS request everything at once. Good luck. you will get your approval soon. Mine took 8 month as well

    Congratuation!

I also think they request everything at once so I was very happy when I received their email but everything felt down when I read it...

  11. Our file is in TSC for 8 months till now. (My case's PD is July 10 2014)

We received an email "Request for evidence" from uscis in Dec. 10 days later, we received a mail said our case was lack of my passport photo. My husband sent my photo to them and they sent me an "Received" email. Beside that, they ask us to wait 60 days (til March 14) and they will start working again on our case. We was okay and kept waiting for approving. BUT last night, USCIS sent me an email "Request for evidence" AGAIN!!!! I was very disappointed and just like "wth happening to my case???". Why didn't they request all things in the first time? It really takes long time when they do these stupid things to us :clock: .

Does anyone same as me? Because I have never heard about the case gets checklist 2 times... :crying:
