My mother and myself called the nvc to check and had two different people tell us that the VISA expiration is the one that counts. The annotation will not affect her entering into the country.

Hey everyone,

I am so glad to finally say that my fiancee got the k1 visa in hand finally today.

I do have a question though. On the visa in the annotation it says: EXPIRATION DATE OF PETITION 01 SEPTEMBER 2015

Do I need to be concerned with this date?

We booked the ticket for the 18th of September and the Visa expiration is: 25 DECEMBER 2015

I just want to make sure we will be ok in the POE in chicago airport.

FINALLY I just got the E-Mail and Text. Just over 8.5 months of waiting!

Day 221 and we're tired of waiting for a NOA2. What a mess. It hurts seeing others wait not even half as much as we do. I'm not even gonna talk about CSC. I wish they processed the cases in order. We're playing Bingo here.

I share your resentment towards them. I still haven't heard anything and my NOA1 was 8/15... 234 days...

I contacted my Senator and all they said they could do to help was send a letter of support for when my fiancee has her interview at the consulate...

Sadly all we can do is sit and wait. And every second apart sucks.
