  1. Hi all, I need help with something. When my wife had her interview at the US embassy they took all original documents from her and returned basically everything I submitted before (which were copies of all documents) is that normal? Do they keep the original documents you give them during the interview? and return the documents we submit to the NVC? any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks..

  2. Congratulations drhamdo! I'm a little confused though, the embassy is telling me that they are currently scheduling interviews for individuals who submitted their documents in early April. I submitted mine around April 20th and have not been given an interview date but it seems that you submitted yours at the very end of April. Are CR-1 visas scheduled differently than K-1? I have been trying desperately to ask them for a better idea of when my fiancé will be called so we can plan our wedding (which has already been postponed) and they give me a generic response every time.

Thanks, I called the NVC and they informed me of the interview date over the phone. I wish you the best and hopefully you get one in August too!! good Luck..

  3. Hi All,

I know that probably many people have asked this question before, I just can't find the answer!

I just paid my AOS fees and printed the AOS cover page. however, I have not paid the Application (DS-260) fees, as it is not invoiced yet. My Question is: Can I send all financial and supporting documents now or should I wait to pay and fill the DS-260?

Thank you for your help in Advance!

    Didi

  4. Yes I've called a few times and everytime I call the USCIS they say they're in the normal time frame and to call back with 14-30 days if no changes. I see may and June filers getting approvals so I'm not understanding their whole process

It seems like you are already more than 6 months wait. I would call and ask for a tire 2, or even make an appointment at the local USCIS and ask them. if your priority date is 04/14 the processing time for TSC is 5 months. I think if you try to do the e-request it should allow you to do so!! Yet again I don’t know myself since I yet to reach 5 months!! I have not seen many TSC applicants in the April I-130 fillers forum but you should post there as well..

Let me know if you managed to know what date they are processing at the TSC..

  5. Hello my fellow May filers just recieved my NOA2 in the mail today. I recieved my NOA1 on May 27 and NOA2 on October 16th so it was just under 5 months. My service center is Vermont. Its weird cause i didnt recieve a email or text message which i signed up for and i just checked my case status on the uscis website and it still says intial review. Dont count on a text notification guys. Im guessing they are just slow to update the system on the uscis website. So make sure ya'll are checking your mailboxes. On to some new B.S. i guess with the NVC and this 60 day ####### they have going on i keep hearing about. I have been quiet in this thread mostly but im always on this site reading and getting information from other people expierences. Love this site! I hope the rest of yall are making progress at the NVC right now or recieving your NOA2 shortly if not there yet. Im sure i will need some guidance from you guys here soon.

    Cheers

    Congrats!!
