I understand that, but it’s hard to wait, especially when you have no idea if it will be two days, weeks, or several months. I literally can't concentrate on anything. I'm sure it will get easier with time.
Eight days after my interview, still nothing. I suppose they haven't received my file yet. I saw someone in a similar situation on Reddit. They received their decision in eight days.
It's a nerve-wracking feeling; I can't stop thinking about the situation, and I'm struggling to concentrate on anything. I would rather wait longer for the interview than be in the situation I'm in right now.
I just finished my interview. It went well — I passed! Unfortunately, no decision was made because the officer didn’t receive my case file in time. She mentioned it should arrive within 1–2 weeks. Honestly, I wish they had scheduled my interview for a later date when they had the file, but it is what it is. I’ll update here once a decision is made and the oath ceremony is scheduled.
5 years. I had GC for much longer ( you can see my old timeline for my GC in my signature ).
My estimated timeline was 8+ months when I submitted my application online on 3/3.
I'm in shock, I thought I had more time. Spring and Summer are the busiest times at my job and I'm going on the cruise on the 18th ... it's a bit crazy
I just collected today's mail. The interview is scheduled for 6/10 !! I know the person who filled in September and interviewed in February. I never expected mine to be so quickly! We both live in the same state, the same office.
3/3 filled online
5/6 status changed
