Hi,
I arrived in the States on 2015 with my K2. K2 is my daughter from my first marriage. My husband legally adopted my daughter. My question is, does that automatically make her a US citizen? Or, does she still needs to apply for citizenship?
Thank you.

Hi Everyone,
We are currently in the process of preparing our documents for AOS and EAD for both me and my K2. My husband will be deployed on May 2015. We've heard that there are cases where applications were expedited due to deployment reasons. Has anyone of you undergone the same thing? May I know what the process is and the papers that we will be needing?
Should we submit first and then request to expedite? or
Should we do it at the same time?
Thank you so much.

Yes. My friend went to NSO the day after her interview. She was advised that the embassy will be the one whowill pick up the CENOMAR.
Was your friend recently interviewed? Thanks.

Oh really? Even if it says in the requirement "if you have never contracted marriage." Oh no... I dont think i have time to get one...

Hi everyone,
I'M about to have my interview on October 22, 2014. I've everything ready already...I hope.
. I just wanna know if i understood one of the required documents rght. One of the requirements is this:
CERTIFICATE OF NO MARRIAGE RECORD (CENOMAR). If you have never contracted marriage, a CENOMAR (Singleness) issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) and printed on NSO security paper should be submitted. You may call the NSO Information Center at 02-737-1111 to inquire on securing a CENOMAR or visit their website at http://www.census.gov.ph.
I am a widow, so does this mean I don't need to submit a CENOMAR?
Thank you so much, really appreciate it.

Have you tried to re-check your DS160? I believe you forgot to save it but I think it's worth a try if you check your ds160 by clicking your confirmation no. It might work.

I got the same msg that one or more number used to schedual this appointment, it might delay your being processed. What should i do?
I dont know what to do either...
i read forums but nothing was really that clear or helpful...

Hi everyone,
I set an appointment for interview last night and after confirmation there was a message saying that there is an error on the ds160 that was used for this appointment which may cause delay. Unfortunately i was not able to save my ds 160 application only the confirmation. I feel so stupid right now. I dont know what to do. I was sure that i filled it out accurately, i even reviewed it but apparently there is an error. Help please! I dont know what to do next. Thanks.

Based on the USCIS Case Status, our petition got approved on September 10, but we didn't get an email or text though. Is this reliable?

My fiancé requested to expedite due to his pending deployment on April 2014. He called the military hotline about 5 days ago but we haven't received any feedback from them whatsoever. They said they were going to call or email within 5 days but no feedback yet until now. Anyone here who requested for military expedite? Thanks.

We will keep that in mind. Thank you.

Thanks!
I viewed your timeline. We applied for the petition about same time as you did last year. You started yours June 27, 2013 and we started ours June 26, 2014. I hope ours goes as smoothly as yours did. Although we're still hoping that we can fast track it cuz of his deployment next year. Anyways, thanks!

Hi everyone,
We have a pending k1 visa application and we have not received noa2 until now. My fiancé is from the military but we didn't know that we can request to expedite so we submitted without attaching a cover letter to request for expedite. He has orders for deployment early next year and we were hoping that I'll be with him before he gets deployed. Anyway, he called the mil hotline yesterday and was asked by the customer service about his reasons for requesting to expedite. Te customer service was the one who formulated the request to expedite and to wait for a call from them. We were wondering if that's how it is done. Dont we need to submit a letter of request or something? Did we call/go to the right person. Thanks so much.

We didn't mean to sound like we're whining or anything or trying to be insensitive of other couples long waiting time. I also know that all of us will want nothing more than to be with our loved ones. We're just worried cuz my fiancé is going on deployment early next year... And we're looking for every possible ways to beat that. Hope you guys understand.

Hi,
My fiancé is with the military as well and he's been asking me to ask you guys how he can request for our petition to be expedited since he's going on deployment early next year. We got our noa1 July 2nd. Will really appreciate it. Thanks.

We got our NOA2 in 21 days after NOA1.
BUT... we had our military expedite approved, as I'm due to get military orders with a November report date.
What boggles me is that for every step of the process, you've got to get a separate expedite request approved. Right now, we're in NVC receipt limbo, awaiting forwarding to the embassy.
I'm saddened to see the slow down at CSC for people, but encouraged that TSC filers are moving a bit faster.
We wish everyone the best! Waiting is absolutely the most difficult part!

Ours was submitted June 23 with NOA1 June 27. I think CSC has more petitions to be adjudicated now coz I've read from posts here that some petitions from TSC were transferred to CSC. There's nothing you can do for now but to patiently wait. Those cases that were approved like 20 or 30 days probably were expedited for some reasons like petitioners who are in Military. Just hang in there. Your approval will come before you know it.
I am from the military. Is there a line that I can call to have it expedited? Thanks.

Our noa1 was received on July 4th but we haven't received the noa2 yet until now. Ours is being processed at CSC. I know they process k1 there faster than any other service centers. I've noticed some timelines were approved in less than 30 days and some less than 20 days even. Ours has been almost 69 days now...
I wonder I there's anything that we can do. Anyone with similar case?
