  1. Hi Everyone,

We are currently in the process of preparing our documents for AOS and EAD for both me and my K2. My husband will be deployed on May 2015. We've heard that there are cases where applications were expedited due to deployment reasons. Has anyone of you undergone the same thing? May I know what the process is and the papers that we will be needing?

Should we submit first and then request to expedite? or

Should we do it at the same time?

    Thank you so much.

  2. Hi everyone,

I'M about to have my interview on October 22, 2014. I've everything ready already...I hope. :). I just wanna know if i understood one of the required documents rght. One of the requirements is this:

CERTIFICATE OF NO MARRIAGE RECORD (CENOMAR). If you have never contracted marriage, a CENOMAR (Singleness) issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) and printed on NSO security paper should be submitted. You may call the NSO Information Center at 02-737-1111 to inquire on securing a CENOMAR or visit their website at http://www.census.gov.ph.

I am a widow, so does this mean I don't need to submit a CENOMAR?

Thank you so much, really appreciate it.

  3. What the error say?

The error said " one or more errors were found in the ds160 used to set this appointment"

I got the same msg that one or more number used to schedual this appointment, it might delay your being processed. What should i do?

I dont know what to do either... :( i read forums but nothing was really that clear or helpful... :(

Did you set for October interview? I have been checking these past weeks and still no November and beyond. :(

  4. Hi everyone,

I set an appointment for interview last night and after confirmation there was a message saying that there is an error on the ds160 that was used for this appointment which may cause delay. Unfortunately i was not able to save my ds 160 application only the confirmation. I feel so stupid right now. I dont know what to do. I was sure that i filled it out accurately, i even reviewed it but apparently there is an error. Help please! I dont know what to do next. Thanks.

  5. Hi everyone,

We have a pending k1 visa application and we have not received noa2 until now. My fiancé is from the military but we didn't know that we can request to expedite so we submitted without attaching a cover letter to request for expedite. He has orders for deployment early next year and we were hoping that I'll be with him before he gets deployed. Anyway, he called the mil hotline yesterday and was asked by the customer service about his reasons for requesting to expedite. Te customer service was the one who formulated the request to expedite and to wait for a call from them. We were wondering if that's how it is done. Dont we need to submit a letter of request or something? Did we call/go to the right person. Thanks so much.

  6. We got our NOA2 in 21 days after NOA1.

BUT... we had our military expedite approved, as I'm due to get military orders with a November report date.

What boggles me is that for every step of the process, you've got to get a separate expedite request approved. Right now, we're in NVC receipt limbo, awaiting forwarding to the embassy.

I'm saddened to see the slow down at CSC for people, but encouraged that TSC filers are moving a bit faster.

We wish everyone the best! Waiting is absolutely the most difficult part!

  7. Ours was submitted June 23 with NOA1 June 27. I think CSC has more petitions to be adjudicated now coz I've read from posts here that some petitions from TSC were transferred to CSC. There's nothing you can do for now but to patiently wait. Those cases that were approved like 20 or 30 days probably were expedited for some reasons like petitioners who are in Military. Just hang in there. Your approval will come before you know it.

I am from the military. Is there a line that I can call to have it expedited? Thanks.

  8. Our noa1 was received on July 4th but we haven't received the noa2 yet until now. Ours is being processed at CSC. I know they process k1 there faster than any other service centers. I've noticed some timelines were approved in less than 30 days and some less than 20 days even. Ours has been almost 69 days now... :( I wonder I there's anything that we can do. Anyone with similar case?
