Hello. Can anyone please advise about DS-160 & DS-156.
I have interview in Jan-2015 at Abu Dhabi US embassy. What is the right time to fill these online forms ?
Response by anyone from UAE who went through this process will be appreciated.
Thanks.

ALHAMDULILLAH. we got the interview date for Abu-Dhabi Embassy. It is almost 2 months ahead but the thing makes us feel good is that my interview date is her Birthday and this feeling gives us peace and comfort of mind .
Wish us good luck as she asked me a Birthday gift that is not in my hands

I wish! Wasn't transferred and only just got my NOA2 last week!
Lucky you got it in 5 months. As you're in Scotland so, the rest process will be like a bullet train. Good Luck.

why there are no more posts here for last 30 days. Has everyone else got their visas ? we are still waiting for interview to be scheduled. NOA2 received almost 33 days ago.

Yahooooooooo
Got approved today. Now we are in post decision activity. They mailed NOA2. Feeling blessed. We are April filers in TSC not transferred. Got RFE 2 weeks ago for a minor thing. Our lawyer forget to check Yes/No options against crime related questions.
Seems everything went smooth and hoping it will go smoother in next stages.

They just updated our case at USCIS. They mailed RFE. I know we will see what they asked but does anyone know if this is a good sign :-??
Feeling happy and sad too.
We are April filer and we were not transferred.

Well the "usual" timeline is 5 months. TSC was taking much longer than that, but has seemed to have picked up the pace, plus transferred the majority of april-may files to CA.
In other words, the earliest I would expect it for you is early September, but it could be a month or two after that... The timeline estimate on this website will probably you give you the best educated estimate.
Thanks "usmsbow" for the detailed reply
at uscis.gov it shows standard time as 6 months, and the last processed file was dated Dec-31-2013 for TSC. But I have seen in few blogs where people said, TSC is processing Feb-2014 files.
is there any authentic source to find this information ?

April-08-2014 filer, and still no update after Alien Registration number changed on Apr-08.
No notification received about transfer.
Can anyone predict the expected date for NOA-2
April 02, 2014: I-129F sent.
April 06, 2014: NOA1 received & check cashed.
April 12, 2014: Alien Registration Number changed.
Regarding RFE :/

Hi,
your status at UCSIS should change to RFE received. If it is not changed yet, then you better call them , just to ask if they have received it. The mail might be lost somewhere and your deadline goes off. so better check with them, prefer email, as you will have a record of this correspondence.
Good luck
