I just checked our case status online and OMG, our I-130 was approved!!! I didn't expect it to come so quick, I'm thrilled and still can't believe my eyes.
Still waiting for our NOA 2 to be delivered though... hope everyone will get the good news soon
Congratulations! I wish you all the very best for the rest of the journey!

received my NOA1 on august 11st. Hoping for no RFE's cuz I included only copy of my marriage certificate in the package, no other evidences. also hope that the NVC will speed up with the process, seems like they're getting slower. Anyone know the average time it takes for the NVC to process now? Best wishes for you all!!!
As of now, It seems , NVC part takes around 5 months!! That is what I have been told by immigration lawyers and also the VisaJourney says so. Hopefully it becomes faster.
Good luck!

Any of the August filers that are at the Nebraska service center have an update on the USCIS website about their case??? I got my notice in the end of August and its been a month and the USCIS website still says your case cannot be found at this time. I would like to know if anyone else is getting this same message?
Hi Mansor,
My priority date is Aug 4th , and about a week after I received my NOA1, I could track my case online which is still in "initial review" phase . I recommend you to call the customer service to see what the problem is. I think as far as you have your case number you should be ok. But it doesn't hurt to call them.
All the very best wishes,

Honestly, all we sent in was a certified copy of our marriage license, in fact after we sent it in we were worried we would be asked for more paperwork, but like stated it took literally 5 months to the date, on par with the national average.
Thank you for your reply. I sent exactly the same!
All the very best wishes for a speedy process in NVC.

thanks visajourney for all the help and input while we were filling our I-130!
Congratulations!
Just a quick question, I was wondering what evidence did you submit to show it was a bonafide marriage?
Thank you and Congratulations again.

Hi,
This is a very serious issue and I STRONGLY recommend recommend you to talk to contact an immigration attorney. Please don't try to get advice from non professional people. Because each case is different than the other.
You can post your question to http://www.avvo.com/, on the immigration section. Immigration attorneys answer your questions for free. However, if you want a very precise answer/solution it worth to pay and talk to an immigration attorney. I say that because I had the same issue for re-entry permit document and miscalculating, and it negatively affected my citizenship and of course a lot of money. First post your question on Avvo and see what they tell you for free.
Good luck,
BP
