@Danielle8572 Congrats! This is great news that gives us all hope that we will hear back soon. Can you please include your mailing date/ NOA1 to the October-16 list? Or can you at least share them here so folks can add you. Thank you!

Hello I am not sure how to edit it. So I will leave my information here and someone can add me to the list.

    Date of I-751 - 10/13/16

    NOA1 - 10/18/16

    Biometrics - 11/16/16

    Approval Date - 08/30/17 Recieved letter 09/09/17

  2. I have been on pins and needles for some time. I didn't realize how long removing condition really takes. I was reading in August 2016, and September 2016 filers. Someone had mentioned something called USPS informed delivery. I signed up for it and you can see the items in your mailbox before they come. Low and behold I looked and there was something from USCIS. So of course I went there to look. I was approved on 08/30/17. I got the letter mailed yesterday. I think it's kind of cute that the approval date is the fourth year anniversary of when I met my husband for the first time.

Says my my green card will take up to 60 days. I'm pretty sure it said that last time and I received it a week or so later. I'm so relieved because my job you need to renew your license every year. When you are not a American citizen you need to bring your green card. So happy that I will have no issues this year. 😀😀😀😀

Just got my letter! I was so sure I'd get an RFE, but apparently what little we had was enough.

When I go to check my status on the USCIS site, though, I just get the "Fees were waivered" glitch message.

Now I'm just hoping the actual card won't get lost in the mail... and that the CSC gets to the rest of you guys soon!

That's awesome! I hope I get mine soon. I will be moving shortly and that would be a mess. I wonder how they are doing it. It looks like some are now getting approved but they say they are working on July of 2016. Who knows how the order works.

  4. Hello all,

I have been reading this forum because my biometrics was completed in November and I have heard nothing. Does anyone know if they will extend your extension if it goes past a year? I have a job I require a license each year. My next renewal is coming up in the next couple of months, and I am starting to get concerned. I know it can take up to a year. However, like I said I have to renew this license in the coming months and without it, I will lose my job.

  5. When my husband and I went in they didn't even ask for that. They asked for my court depositions and for our photo ID and my passport and asked a couple of questions.

The copy is in your application so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Don't mention anything unless they ask about it specifically.

    Hey guys!

We got approved on the spot!!!!!!

Our interviewer loved us! He even gave us his personal number on our way out. It was intense. Not the questioning just the atmosphere. We were one of the first couples and it took an hour. We waited for like 30-45 minutes for them to call our number but once we got in there he just asked us one question and that's how did this relationship come about. He made us know that our filing date was a red flag (because it was so close to when we got married) but he believed our love was real and we had every evidence even more than he wanted. He said we made his job easy and that we were approved on the spot. He wished us all the best and for us to have a long happy marriage.

So good luck to everyone else! I am so relieved and ecstatic??? and I'll see you guys in two years!

CONGRATS!!!!! so happy for you! When we went our wait was like 90 mins lol.

It's nice to hear when people are approved. I hate to hear of denials.

  6. Hey guys I have a question. I got a cancellation email an then received an interview notice in the mail. Then after that I received my cancellation notice. I was planning on going to the interview anyway because I hadn't received any correspondence from USCIS but then yesterday I received my rescheduled date for February 24. My question is should I still go to the interview to have them tell me in person since I received the rescheduled date or just don't even bother???

Let me know what you guys think!

I would go for sure. If they tell you to go home. Go home. But who knows they may still do the interview. But at least you know. The immigration process can be annoying.

It's better to be safe then sorry.

Got my welcome letter a couple of days ago! I'm officially a permanent resident. My green card has been mailed out as of today! So happy!

I mailed out my app on September 22nd and they mailed out my green card on January 22nd. Awesome.

  7. Good luck to those with interviews today!

    Thank you!

I went to the Atlanta field office and I arrived at 11:45 about an hour early. Went through security which was a zoo. You have to check in no sooner then 30 minutes prior. I checked in went up to the 2nd floor. Waited for about an hour and some and we were called in.

We were asked to swear that everything we were saying was the truth. She asked for my court documents for my youth record which I provided her. Then she asked for photo ID and my passport. She also asked for proof of shared life. I provided our lease, our insurance, our health and dental insurance, and our joint bank accounts.

She asked a few questions. Asked how we met, and when, and when we met in person. Also asked if we skyped or anything like that so we knew what the other looked like. I said yes. Asked my husband my birthday and when he proposed. Asked questions from the forms and checked our id for our address.

Also asked when we moved in there and if we had any other marriages or children not listed. Asked us to confirm our signatures and phone numbers listed. Asked what we did for a living.

At the end she said she has to have one more thorough look at our documents but it seems good and there shouldn't be able issues. I should receive my green card in 3 weeks.

I gave them everything that they asked for. So we feel positive about it.

JUST GOT AN EMAIL MY GREEN CARD IS IN PRODUCTION!'

  8. I took a photo album, all original documents, utilities in my name and in his, bank statements with both our names on. Birthday cards from my parents to him, random stuff like that. Our IO didn't look at anything but a couple of original documents though.

We have joint bank accounts but all utilities are in his name. I'm on his insurance. My family hasn't sent me a card since I've been here but I'm bringing Christmas cards addressed to both of us. A photo album as well. I just want to make sure I have everything I need. I'm also bringing copies of everything I sent in as well as original documents.

  9. How nasty. I wasn't asked to provide any mail to prove my residence. All I submitted was my marriage certificate which bears my new surname, my passport and my EAD card The lady must have figured if I received my EAD then the address I provided was authentic.

I know, I even had the mail my card came with. But you know how that can be. She was extremely lazy and nasty. In Georgia they require two pieces of mail.

  10. Got my social security number a week or so ago. I want to get photo id so I don't need to carry around my passport. You need two pieces of mail to prove my residency. I supplied them with a couple pieces of mail I got from uscis. The girl I dealt with had such a chip on her shoulder. Complete attitude told me it can't be from the same place and went on to tell me to go get some.

So going back tomorrow with a bank statement.

I had 4 different pieces of mail but because it all came from uscis it was counted as one. I didn't even think of it. But still wasn't impressed about how much attitude I was given.

  11. I'm not sure anyone has answered this for you- you can request your records from the police- and pay a fee (you might be able to expedite by paying extra, I know that's an option in the UK)... if you're going home for Christmas it will make life a bit easier fingerprints wise!

    http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/steps-etapes-eng.htm

BUT... it will just come back that there's no record as your youth record will be sealed sealed/destroyed (unless you did something very very naughty indeed!), so you DON'T actually have a record to declare. Check with the local police force to ensure that it's been sealed or destroyed

Thank you for your response. I got the letter declaring what I need to bring to my interview. They want court certified copies of my charges and the end result which i can understand. I contented the youth court and did a search a couple months ago and it came 2 days after I filed. Of course. So that I still have in my possession. They also wanted all probation records and any alternative measures records. Alternative measures is where you do community service and are not charged by the courts. It doesn't go on your record.

Problem is this was from 12 years ago so those have since been destroyed and there is no way I can obtain them. The charges were not bad enough to keep it on hand longer.

So now I can only suit my court records I actually have. I've only been on probation once. Which I have a copy of the Court order outlining the details. But that is all I have.

My criminal record has been coming up clean for years now. All was expunged in 2007-2008.

Again thank you for contacting me and replying to me. I am still going to look into a police check and see if that would be helpful at all.

I wish I was going home for Christmas. I didn't apply for advance parole with my application. But when I go down there I will be going down to the court house and getting multiple copies because in 2-3 years the records wil disappear as well.
