You know what the problem is they take care of other countries cases such as my country (Iran) and specially syria
Thats why it takes long time .
President obama said they are going to accept 10000 refugees from syria !!!! most of them are in Turkey now ... that's why

True, Ankara does process some cases out of country, but thankfully they don't handle refugee visas. Those are done by the UNHCR.
The U.S. Embassy in Ankara is not a designated post for refugee case processing. In Turkey, The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has responsibility for assistance to, and protection of, refugees.

7/28 CC and no interview. Hoping we get one in October. I have no idea what the hold up is.
Unfortunately I doubt oct will happen. The embassy updated their scheduled spots list on sept 9 with all the appt scheduled up and to oct 27

So excited...now to get medical done and try to get our date moved up so we can reunite daddy with our now 6 mth baby boy!
