I am new to this forum and new to immigration. However, I hope to learn few things from you all.
I am currently employed at a university. When I received a H1-B, I self-petition for green card under EB1. The I-140 was approved and I just received the EAD card.
I would like to leave my current job, take a break for few months and then look for a new job. I would like know:
1. Can I be unemployed while the I-485 is being processed?
2. Can I leave the country during the time I am unemployed and the I-485 is being processed?
