I got my interview letter today in the mail. My interview is set for March 12, 2015. I'm in the Houston office. Yay!

No I'm still waiting for mine. Been checking the mail everyday. Hopefully it will come in next week.

I can't believe it. Today I received a case update text and went online and saw this:

On February 2, 2015, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number ********. We will mail you an interview notice.

So super excited as my local office is Houston and they take FOREVER. I will update you guys when I receive my notice in the mail. I'll be checking it everyday like a mad woman. I've been waiting to get an interview date since August.

Finally...looks like the Houston office is making some progress....just checked the USCIS website and saw that my interview was scheduled. i didn't receive a text message though. Waiting for the letter in the mail with my interview date now. updated my record below.

Yep I am pretty sure they are behind on that updates. couple of people already started getting Interview notification for June filler meaning when these people are done we should be next in row!

YAY!! at some point you start to wonder if all your stuff got lost or something and worry and checking the mail like a crazy person! haha

I got this as an update on my case status online and i don't know what it means? In November 2014 i went online and requested an update. This is the response (finally) however i don't know what it means and haven't received anything via text or email (which i'm signed up for):

really!? that' great. When you go to the USCIS website it just says that as of October 31, 2014 they were finishing up filers from March 2014. I'm assuming they will update it January 30? Who knows.

Yes, you are now inline for an interview.

Since the USCIS website update a few months ago, the message now tells you that they have begun scheduling an interview for you, instead of telling you that you are inline for interview scheduling.

People don't seem to be spending very much time inline though, so hopefully you'll be scheduled soon.

Another person who filled from Houston got the third bio letter too. They told him the second one was glitch!

I will assume I will get a third bio letter too after they said the second one was glitch! If I get a third one I am thinking just to go ahead and do the bio again but I am not sure if this is good or bad...meaning if I do another finger print...it is possible that this would delay the process even more...

The Houston office is such a hot mess. I received my notice after my biometrics almost immediately and in line for interview scheduling on August 22.

“On August 22, 2014, we started the interview scheduling process for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number ******. We will send you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your interview notice by November 20, 2014 please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice.”

So I contacted USCIS for a status update on November 20^th and also put in a notice online. To which I received an email that said this:

“Thank you for your request: USCIS will review and process the request. Expect a reply by December 16, 2014.”

Been waiting for a reply and nothing. Checked online and finally today this was updated in my case status when I logged in:

“As of November 24, 2014, your inquiry about a notice that you did not receive, referral number *****, is currently not assigned for processing.”

So yup… Still waiting…

Of course our luck has to be Houston processing the slowest in the nation!

I file my N400 July 20 and still in initial stage (not even inline).

i found this in the April filers and wanted to share. I went online to see if it had been updated but this is the latest and greatest. It shows applications for naturalization performance data for the 3rd quarter. It shows how many applications were received by field office, how many were approved, denied, pending. As you can see, Houston has large amount of applications. Not as many as New York and yet NY processing is much quicker. Houston is just a slow office. Boo.

if your field office is Houston (as is mine), there is a delay. It's one of the most backlogged field offices. Hopefully we'll get our interview letters soon. I haven't gotten mine either. Just my yellow letter that i'm in line and my text. That was back on August 22nd.

Well, I take my comment back about hoping to get my interview letter in the mail within 2 weeks. My field office is Houston which apparently is the slowest office of all. Grrreeeeaaaat.

Regardless, still happy for everyone else. Shall live vicariously thru you.

I just figured out how to do this today ! go to the top right corner click on your name, then select My Profile, it will take you to your settings and select Signature and voila !
