This is not a recommendation to anybody, but I was wondering whether, given that decisions are guaranteed within 60 days after an RFE, whether it isn't a good idea to deliberately mess up something basic, get an RFE, and then get a decision within 60 days?

This is based on pure empirical review of VJ Similar Timelines and people who had RFEs whose petitions were approved at the same Service Center faster than our 'clean approval' was processed.

Remember, I'm not suggesting this, but just wondering.

Thoughts?

I've been following the processing time charts on VJ waiting for our NOA1 day to show up as the 'applications from this date are being processed' - is that the date you would expect an NOA2 to start showing up, or is it when they start looking at your file?

Does anyone have an idea of the over/under between the date on the chart and an NOA2?
