Boiler, I came here on K1 and I was simply asked if I know something about O visa holders. I am working with my friend who just got O1. And I dont see why is that matter at all.

Mymarley, that is my status too ! I- 485 sent on November 21., EAD/AP car approved on January 27th, , Notice of potential interview case received on February 11th !

Got approval today 41 days after Notice of potential interview waiver case letter ! So no rules, you can get it anytime ))

They asked if I applied a visa. I said yes. I said I applied for a tourist visa and that I was refused a tourist visa and that was it. The conversation moved on.

I have Been denied a student visa twice this summer (lack of ties to home country) my boyfriend proposed and we have now filed for the k1 visa. Got our NOA1 yesterday and are very excited, people have told me that I should not worry about my past visa denials. True or not?

Also if I decide to apply for the esta and gets denied (wich I'm assuming cause of my previous denials) will this have any impact of our k1 visa?!

I'm just so scared we wait so long and then gets denied because of the other denials!

Have you met her in person after ? If you did, and you have proofs of your ongoing relationship, that is not the problem. The way you met each other is not that important, you should tell them the truth.

When was your interview? did the status stay like that or did it change again.

Interview was on September 9th, then my creation date was changed on that date. And after two days it was changed again when it was written ISSUED . Dont worry, everything is ok, you will have visa in your hands in a few days

And yes, before ISSUED ( September 11th), I had AP (on September 10th).

Same thing happened to me , on the date of my interview creation date was changed to interview date

Got an e-mail (which is considered NOA 1) in late June stating that paperwork was accepted on June, 24. Noticed that petitioning parties filed on that day (which would be me, too) got accepted for an initial review on July, 29. It has been 7(seven) full weeks since, no response or anything...I understand that everyone's case/timeline is unique but any idea how much longer to wait, approximately, until I get NOA 2?
