Hoping to bring mom to United States before Christmas, but I'm not too optimistic. We'll see how it goes.

Our status changed from "ready" to "issued" the day after the interview (05 June 2015).

Hey everyone. Yesterday I received an email from our local DHL saying that my wife's passport is ready for pickup. That didn't take long.

Approval: 04 June 2015

Available for pickup: 12 June 2015

I hope it's fast for everyone else as well.

June 11, 2015: Due to worldwide technical difficulties, we are experiencing a temporary delay in our ability to process visas, which has impacted the delivery of approved visas. We are hopeful that these issues will be resolved soon. We thank you for your patience as we work through this challenge.

My wife's visa was approved last week on 04 June 2015. Her interviewer said that the visa would most likely be delivered in a week.

I've tried calling for at least a tracking number with DHL but they said that they haven't issued one yet.

I've also tried emailing and they sent an automated response with the same message as above.

Does anyone think "worldwide technical difficulties" has something to do with the recent hacking of federal information by the chinese?

How long will it take before they turn over approved visas to the DHL for delivery?

Does anyone have any information about this? I don't know where else to look.

I am a US citizen and full-time college student and recently married my wonderful wife, a colombian citizen, and we're currently in the process of filing the I-130 petition form for her to travel to the United States. She lives with her mother who has always been a single parent. My wife and I thought that her mother would be alright for a few years until my wife becomes a US citizen and then we can file for her mother to come to the United States as well. Unfortunately her mother was recently diagnosed with a late-stage liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). Is there any way her mother could get a waiver from the government to travel and get treated in the United States? All of my mother-in-law's other relatives live in small villages around Colombia where she wouldn't receive proper treatment and I don't think she is able to live alone anymore due to her medical condition. If my wife were to travel to the Unites States, she would leave her sick mother completely alone and abandoned. :/ any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
