Thank you very much "stressed out". So my brother would not need to fill out an I-864A in addition to a I-864? Was just curious since we are in the same household. I guess it would be redundant.

Hello everyone! I've been following this site for a while and it's very informative, I would now like to ask some questions of my own.
I'm a 24 year old US citizen who studied in the Philippines and married my classmate. I have come back here to the US to continue my studies. I'm living in my brother's house and he has stable income. Unfortunately I have not worked ever since, and currently have no job.Question 1 : Would it be possible to file for a spousal visa with no income but using my brother as a joint sponsor? He has sufficient income thats around 3x the required amount (based on the poverty limit info i saw on the site), and has a house and cars as assets if need be. He is not married, no family and kids. And has never supported or petitioned anyone in the past.
Question 2 : If the details in question 1 are possible, would we both fill out an I-864, or would I fill out an I-864 and he an I-864A? And what would I write on the income on my I-864? just $0?
I am praying that it would be possible, as the seperation is giving me great anxiety. Hopefully someone who has gone through my plight or is at least knowledgable can offer some insight. Thank you so much.
I-134 Questions
in K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
Hi again guys, i posted a question here a few days ago and after doing intensive research on the process i realized i asked the wrong question (asked about the I-864 which is for AOS).
So here it is again. I am a 24 year old US citizen who studied in the Philippines and married my classmate. I have moved back here to the US to continue my studies and I am still applying for a nursing program. I have never worked in the past and have no income to show for, or tax returns, but my brother is willing to be a joint sponsor. I am also currently staying and will be staying with my brother for the forseeable future. He has stable income which is way past the required amount based on the poverty guidelines stated and has assets to show for if necessary. He is not married. No family or kids and has never petitioned or supported anyone in the past. I understand that we both must fill up a form I-134 and I'm confused with what to put on the following lines.
Question 1:
"item 7 : I am employed as or engaged in the business of:_________ with ___________"
Do I write student on the first line and leave the second line blank?
Question 2:
"item 11 : I intend/do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s). If none, state "None"
As I have no income, do i state "None" and leave it to my brother's form I-134 to state all the contributions such as room and board etc.?
Thank you everyone.
