  1. Congratulations fellow Cincy filer. Wishing I could have made my regularly scheduled interview in early September and perhaps I would be a US citizen today also. Looking at a late October though now since my interview is next Friday.

    Thanks.

In the USCIS Cincy field office page, it says 3-4 ceremonies per month.

But looks like based on the demand, they end up with only one per month.

Today only 56 people took the oath, so you can guess.

  2. Congrats! How did it go?

Interview was very simple. I had 2:30 scheduled time, reached there at 2:20.

I was called at 2:40 and was out of interview room at 2:55.

The lady interviewer was very nice. She started with questions on N400 form.

Asked around 20 question, tick marked on the form after every answer.

Then she started English reading-writing test.

Read: When is the Columbus Day

Write: Columbus Day is in October.

For Civics test, asked following questions( questions were already printed)

    1. What did the Declaration of Independence do?

    2. Name one branch or part of government

    3. We elect a U.S. senator for how many years?

    4. If both President and the Vice President no longer server, who becomes President?

    5. What does the President's cabinet do?

6 How many justices are on Supreme Court?

Then she asked whether I have any questions for her. I asked about oath ceremony.

Thats it !! I could not have asked for a simpler interview.

  3. Thanks for the Cincinnati timeline. I also filed and my field office is Cincinnati. I find it interesting that your priority date is before mine but you have an interview date after mine. I really wish I had a later interview date since I will be out of state during my scheduled interview. I still haven't heard anything back from a request to reschedule.

What is the date on your interview letter? Meaning, what day was the interview scheduled?

It is 8/06. By the way, do you know oath ceremony dates in Cincinnati in September?
