    for those who are here right now to find answers about their immigration situations, or are you just hanging around on this site while waiting for your love ones while their visa are on process, i just want to let you all know that just keep holding on, keep praying and relax. dont stress too much. they will get here in eventually. its probably stressing you out now with all the expense, the time that keep taking so long and that feeling like its been forever. i was also there. 2 years ago, i used to be on this site to find answers to my question about my husband and daughter's immigration status. i waited a year and half to bring them here with me. but before all that, i went through a lot of pain, stress, deppression, and sadness. i was getting impatient because their papers were taking a long time. i cried almost everyday because i was missing my 6 years old daughter so much. so that day i got their interview date, i knew i only had a few more days left to get see my husband and daughter and hug them forever. it will be a long wait for a while, but once the consulate from your country recieves your case, the process will be really fast and before you knew it, you can finally bring you family and loved ones here in the US. i just wanted to share my experiences for a year and a half of waiting for my husband's IR-1 visa and my daughter's IR-2 visa. we had been living here in the US with my other daughter (we have 2 girls, one is US citizen already bcoz she was born here in the US.. my younger daughter was born in the philippines) for almost 2 years now. we very happy that we dont have to be talking everyday on skype anymore or facebook chats and videocalls just to see each other everyday. that was the saddest moment of my life. but look at me now, i am the happiest mom and wife knowing that i have them with me at last. and will never be apart again. for those who are still waiting, be positive and think of what tommorow may brings.. this day may be dark for you once you have your case complete and interview date, it will be the start of you happily ever after!! goodluck everyone!

    right, its a long process, lots of stress,

    and sleepless nights for me for the past 10 months that ive been waiting for their case to get completed and now here i am waiting for them to get here 2 weeks from now. i dnt know but i feel like the days are so slow bcoz i wanted them here to be here soon but they have to attend a seminar for immigrant leaving their country before they get here.

    hi VJ members, my husband and 6 yrs old daughter got approved last april 13 with their immigrant visa and i am now waiting for them to get here. I just wanna tell everyone here who are still waiting for their case completes or are stiill processing their petetion to keep you hopes up high and just be patient. I had been there too and it was a long wait (10 months for spouse visa and minor of a usc for my 6 yrs old daughter).. But in the end, things went so smooth and didnt expect for them to get approved easily.. I just wanna cheer everybody up.. Hold on and keep praying. Goodluck!

    i just got cc, and asked extensively about what's next, how long, why a delay and rep just read her script...you will be notifed when your interview is to be scheduled....blah, blah, blah....I believe reps don't know....

    Thank you!! I hope they get it soon. It's about 1 to 2 weeks to get thier visa delivered in the philippines..

    After almost a year of being approved, nothing but disappointment from NVC.

    I had been there before. That feeling that you get so deppressed every day waiting for a sign from nvc.. It took 10 months for us from uscis to nvc stage and those were the worst days of my life when I feel so sick and tired everyday waiting for a sign and they keep asking for checklist. We are now waiting for my husband and daughter's interview and im still feeling worried if they get denied or something. Keep the faith, keep praying, and hang on.. It will end soon.

    Just stopping by to say congrats to everyone that has been approved, and good luck to everyone that has an interview coming up.

    I'm so excited and nervous for my husbands interview on the 9th and can't wait until the 6th when I finally get to go see my husband after a very long year.

    My husband's interview is also on the the 8th. I remember when we both were on the case

    Complete forum and we were both patienly waiting for our case complete just like the others.

    And look at us now, waiting for our husband's interview.. I am so nervous right now. Bcoz it's not just my husband but also my 5 years old daughter. They are getting ready for their medical this week. And I am praying things will go smoothly for them. Goodluck to both of us.. And keep praying. ???
