Hi guys,
USCIS delivered my husband Green card on Monday. He has not checked his mailbox bc we aren't home for a few days.
Thank you all for everything.

Thanks for your quick reply.
Did you get this letter before? Do you know why on DOB it has his date on entry to the usa and not his actual birthday?
-
Hi all,
My husband received a letter today with the title
"Notice to conditional permanent resident alien" and I found it weird because some of the information is handwritten with red pen. Like his name. Also on DOB it had 12/30/2014 which is the day that he entered the US, not his day of birth.. What is this about?
Also, for Class it says CF1. I am not sure what this means. Has anyone else reveived this type of letter?!
We randomly got an update on october 8th saying that his aos carr was in production. We never eeceived a NPIW or had an interview. This was a total surprise.
Please let me know what this means and if this letter is normal

Finally my husband got his combo card!!!
So we are thinking of getting his drivers license.
I remember when I had to get a license I had to take the test and take out a permit first.
Does it still work like this?
If so, we will go this Wednesday to get it done.

Big day in the process for us! We had our interview today and right before leaving for it, I checked the online status and it showed that our EAD / AP had been approved and the card was under production!
On to the interview - I will do a better review of this for the local office, but I felt it was a painless process! Smiles all around, and a few basic questions about how we met, our wedding, families, and friends. We also were asked some questions about the types of things together. She requested for our lease for our apartment (with both our names), and also some other evidence (we provided joint credit card bills, medical, rental and auto insurance). She also kept a few of the pictures we had when we insisted we did not need them back. At the end, we were told to expect our conditional green card to arrive in 4-6 weeks though she noted that it could be quicker because things had been moving quite fast recently!! Music to our ears!!
We have been really fortunate in this process and for all others in the process waiting for their interview, I would say to not worry too much and have the required documents listed on the interview sheet. Thereafter, legitimate couples should have no issues! Stay calm, relaxed, and answer every question simply and honestly. Good luck to everyone!!
Congratss!! I should have moved to CALI lol everything is faster there!!!
My husband received his EAD hard copy yesterday and also an email saying the card is in production.
So Excitedd!

My Husband AP was approved this morning!
-
Congrat's fantastic news, I knew you will get it till the end of this week?
Thank you Inna!
Just wondering, do you think they will approve my AP today?
I thought both cards were accepted together
Hi everyone.
So I still didn't get an update on my ead. I was wondering how do we get to speak to a tier 2 after 75 days (that's monday?)? Do we just say we wanna speak to one? Cus I don't think its that easy? Last time I called the lady said it can take up to 90 days. So I'm wondering, where does it say thay after 75 days you speak to a tier 2?
Thanks guys and congrats to everyone who got their card
Hi Puffers,
So I do not remember where I read this, But someone on here needed to get in contact with a tier 2 officer, so they dialed the normal phone number and when someone picked up they said that they were previously speaking to a tier 2 and the phone got disconnected. It worked for them and it is pretty clever LOL. Try this and see what happens.

WOOHOO!! My husband EAD was approved today!! Still waiting for his AP approval! Just received an email.

So I was checking the timelines for AOS from k-1 in New York City.. and about 5 people received interviews and the rest received NPIW letters LOL. There was no one that filed this year that have recieved their greencard!!
To be honest, I would like to get an interview because my husband wants to get it over with and he does not want to do another medical. BUT... If we were to go to an interview, we will be really nervous because we are living in a rented room and we only have a joint bank account. My mail still goes to my mothers apt and my drivers license still has my old address (I do not want to change the address because we are living in that rented room for a very short period of time) So we basically have NO evidence of living together LOL. I only work full time during breaks and part time during the rest of the year. So it will be good if we get the NPIW letter from that sense.
I also want him to get health insurance. There are times that he is not feeling well and we honestly can not afford to go to the hospital because he is uninsured. THIS SUCKS!!! But I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

New York City is still processing October AOS . This process is killing me
-
Congrats guys on all of the approvals. My husbands combo card has not been approved yet . I hope this is our week!!!
-
I agree, and know some people who got their normal 10 yrs GC this way, they didn't expect though, but they had waiver and had to wait longer, that way till their interview time came, they were married more than 2yrs so USCIS removed the condition and gave them normal one:)
I did not know this. I stand corrected

We (well, my husband) will need it to get back in to the US after we are done. I don't know if it's kosher to have someone check our mail and send it to us while we are away as I'm guessing it will arrive shortly after we are supposed to leave (if it doesn't miraculously arrive before we have to go!).
arghhhhh! keeping my fingers tightly crossed that the card production process is extra speedy!
Congrats on your approval. Will you be traveling outside the US? If so, you can't simply travel with your k-1 visa and then come back with AP( Someone mailing that to you when you are outside the country). If you do leave the country without AP, you will basically have to start the whole visa process again. Does this make sense?
-
I do not think it works like that. You still have to get your 2 years GC first, and then apply for the 10 year one
-
Congrats on all of the approvals.!!! and the interview for AOS is good news..at least for me. I have a feeling I'll get an interview waiver because the New York field office is always busy!!! AHHH I hope I get an interview. I can not imagine waiting 1 year for my husband to get his green card. Anyways Congrats.
Still waiting for my husbands approval since NOA1 is June 17th
-
Wooohooo!!! Congrats to all of the approvals!! I am so happy we are moving along. I am expecting my husband EAD/AP documents to be approved withint the next 2 weeks.. or maybe this week LOL. I can only hope...
Congrats again and good luck to all of us still waiting

September? Where are you getting this estimation? I would imagine we'd get approved mid-August. At least that is what my timeline estimator says...???
Good luck!
I looked at march AOS filers.. and they were getting their EAD/AP cards by mid June if I remember correctly. I know it seems soo farr, and then we will have to wait for our green cards.
-
Anyone hear anything yet regarding their case status? Maybe being impatient, but just wanted to see if anyone has received anything.
No update yet.. According to other peoples timeline, I think we will get our EAD/AP convo cards by middle of september.
