  1. No the say of the week shouldn't matter and every time I would call they said that some visas were delayed. And that was a relief because my interview went just right and they approved everything. It was kind of confusing. On this paper that was giving to me said that DHL tracking number is sent to you from 3-10 business days and mine took 11 business days so it wasn't that delayed. Hope everything goes just fine for you on the day of your interview!

  2. I know this doesn't apply in your case since you are an IR-1/CR-1 but I have a friend of mine going through the K-1 process for his fiancé and they had an interview on 7/10 but haven't received the passport, documents, and visa just yet. They are still in Juarez as of today but hang in there and stay positive. I also waited a week until there was movement from the package (DHL waybill number) when I was there with my fiancé (wife) just this past January!

Everything will be fine however. "Patience is a virtue". :)

Thank you so much!... Well they said from 3-10 business days its only been 6 I'm just super anxious cuz I haven't seen my soon since my process started (money situations) I've been checking every day tho. Thank you so much Ima keep thinking positive :)

  3. Hi everyone, I had my interview this past Tuesday July 14th, 2015 at the ciudad Juarez consulate I was approved and the person that interviewed me said that I should get it in 1 week.. So far I keep checking the website and says status of DS-160 and when I click it it I put my case number and then it's says case ready. This is stressing me out! I haven't seen my son and I was hoping to see him this week but seems like that won't happen. Can someone tell me how long theirs took? Will I receive mine soon?

  4. No, the consulate fees are paid but I know my husband will have to pay for his medical and it says on their info. For all 3 clinics in Juarez that they take debit/credit but I'm unsure whether this is true...I'd feel safer not carrying all that cash around

Well i had my interview on the 14th of this month in ciudad juarez and 4 days before i went to get my medical exam and paid in mexican pesos but u do have other options such as pay in cash or pay with debit card (mexican and american) cards. Wish you luck!

im just waiting for visa to arrive still.

  5. Like NLR says..2 weeks up to 8 weeks..

If you want to call to see if they received your package, you can, they may not have your case number ready yet, but they can verify they received your packet.

I would call each week until you get a case number. For me, I got a letter stating about my I129f was being closed after my I130 was sent to NVC.

Okay, im going to call tomorrow and see what they have to say. Do i have to wait the 60 days for the k3 visa packet to be sent to the consulate in mexico?

Thank you for your help, I see that a lot of people are at the same page so it makes me stronger :)

  6. Since both were approved, they will close the I129f and continue with the I130. NVC is backlogged now and are telling people the time may be longer than 30 days to get your case number. The normal processing time at NVC right now is 60 days.

You are correct i called my attorney today and i finally had the chance to speak to him and he said that we might have to wait up to 60 days for i-130 and we need to get a letter from NVC where its going to let us know if the i-129f went through or if it was automatically closed!.. when should i call NVC to find out if they have recieved my packages?

  7. Hi everyone im new to Visa Journey and decided to join in to learn from other people experiences with i-129f.

its embarrassing asking this online i have a attorney doing everything for me but we just dont seem to get any information by him. By the way im right now in Mexico and my husband filled out everything in the US.

On August 4th, 2014 i got the email saying that my i-130 & i-129f were both approved at the same time, the waiting was almost 6 months long til i got the approval. Then on August 8th i got another e-mail saying that my i-129f was sent to NVC. On August 11th i got another e-mail saying that my i-130 was sent to NVC. And ever since i havent heard anything. My question is How much longer is the i-129f going to take in the NVC?
