The next oath ceremony in Montgomery is on December the 12th.

I had my interview earlier this week in Montgomery, Al and my status was updated 2 days after the interview to "Oath ceremony scheduled"

I haven't recieved the letter yet. The officer told me after the interview that the ceremony is scheduled for 12/12. My understanding is that Montgomery does not do same day Oaths.

Today got an update on my case and my AOS interview is scheduled for January 8th.

Received EAD/AP combo card today. No change on AOS application yet. Still in "Acceptance" status.

My EAD and Travel document application was approved today Yay !!!

No change on status of my AOS application.

Did my early walk in for Biometrics today in Birmingham, Al. I was the only one there. I showed them the itinerary of my travel for the scheduled date of biometrics appointment. They laughed about it that people always make things up but no one has ever shown them the flight itinerary

The entire process only took 15 minutes and I was out of the office in no time.

Here is my timeline so far.

Package sent on 8/8/14

received 8/12/14

Check cashed 8/15/14

NOA letter received 8/19/14

Biometrics letter received 8/22/14 for appointment date 9/5 in Birmingham, Al

I am going to be out of the state that day so will try to go there next friday afternoon and see if they will let me do a walk in otherwise I ll have to reschedule.

Hello every one.

Lawyer sent my application for I-485, EAD and AP on 8/8/14. Chicago drop box recieved it on 8/12/14 and my check was cashed on 8/15/14. Now the wait begins. Does any one know what is the average time for AOS when applying thru spouse. I have been in US since 2004 and currently doing my J-1 waiver requirement. We got married in 2010 but couldn't apply for GC due to my J1 waiver. Also I filed my 1-130 back in March of this year so hoping to hear from them sometime this week for my 1-130 application.
