Mine changed to issued today so I began wondering the same thing.
A friend of mine had hers changed to issued on a Wednesday and by the Monday she received an email saying come collect.
If you don't hear back within. . . . Let's say 5 business days, may just be down to the whole issue that has bee going on! That's what I'll think if I don't receive an email by Friday.
But like the site says, if it gets to 10 or more, contact the embassy.
Still no news for us yet. I hope yours is delivered quickly.
Ours changed to "Issued" on Thursday the 25th. Today Monday the 29th at 15:00 (3pm) my husband got the text from the DOS stating his package has been handed over to the courier along with a tracking number. The tracking number shows that he can pick up his package on the 30th (tomorrow)
That sounds promising :-) Congratulations! And, thank you for sharing.

This is a great thread, thanks ladies and gents for posting this. One question though what in the hell do the US call paracetamol? I recall walking round Boise and the sun being so bright and I honestly didn't think it would be that warm and sunny there for the end of October that I didn't bring sunglasses along for the ride. So after three hours of frowning trying to keep the sun out of my eyes I got a headache so when to Albertsons picked up a cheap pair of sunglasses but had a banging headache I went to the counter and asked for Paracetamol to a bemused look on the assistants face. She couldn't understand me so I just presumed it was my Northern accent that she couldn't understand and done what most British people do in these circumstances... Tried my best to adopt a local accent. Massive fail walked out of there with a even redder face
Tylenol is an equivalent brand in the usa.
From wikipedia:
The words acetaminophen (used in the United States,[11] Canada,[11] Japan, Venezuela, and Colombia)[10] and paracetamol (used elsewhere) both come from a chemical name for the compound: para-acetylaminophenol and par<\b>a-acetylaminophenol

Can anyone share their experience with the courier service for the London embassy and specifically when they received a notice from the courier after their status changed to issued?
I'm sure this backlog isn't helping and like others we're just trying to figure when we might get the passport package in hand.

One of our immigrant visa cases in London was issued today. Interview 6/12/2015. Said AP earlier this morning and issued this afternoon (GMT).
Other one still says ready, so while we're excited to see movement/progress (yay), we're still waiting (boo).

Parents had their interview today and were told that no visas have been printed in about a week, that it is unknown when visas will begin printing and that they have to get through the backlog. This was a global issue, not country or visa type specific. It could take 2 - 3 weeks before they get their visa.

Fixed to just one entry.
Thanks

DWheels: I have 2 entries on the spreadsheet; one for each case for my parents. Both have been scheduled for the same date. Only one entry was updated on the spreadsheet though. That would fill one of your slots. :-)
-
Mine took about a week or so.
Thanks. I keep checking but nothing yet. Maybe they're sent out toward the end of the month? We weren't sure if it would prevent us from getting the interview prep completed but we've gotten everything done (medical, courier) now, so just waiting for the big day.
Good luck with your interview!
NVC sends them out in batches, so it might be a little while before it says 'in transit' and then 'ready.' It'll get there soon enough though!!
Thank you!
Mine is still at "NVC" from 4/29 and interview on 6/4! Kind of worrying a little.
Hopefully they will get sent soon.

Quick question: after receiving P4 when does (assuming it will) CEAC update to say "in transit" or "at embassy"? Received our interview dates for both cases on 4/28. Both cases will interview on 6/12. Both still say "At NVC".
Anyone?
-
Thanks for your reply I appreciate it. But will this affect my visa approval or delay my entry to the US?
I've seen in a few places on this site that if you are given vaccines at the medical that require subsequent doses at a later date that it should not prevent you or delay you from getting your visa. Your medical form for the affected vaccine column should have "insufficient time interval" checked, and then you should get a waiver.
This is for K1 but I think it still applies to CR1/IR1: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/529380-vaccinations-packet-3-questions-before-medical/

So I got my p4. Interview on the 23rd June. Still pissed off though. How the hell can people with CC's almost four weeks after me have interviews two weeks before me? How can this sh*t be fair? I am so sick of how all of this keeps turning out.
I read somewhere that priority dates are factored into scheduling. Someone with an earlier date may have started the process months before you. I don't know if that is accurate, but it does seem to explain some of the mystery.
Congratulations and good luck in your interview. You're almost finished; stay positive.
-
Thank you!
Good luck to everyone and may the process be speedier for all.
-
Interview scheduled today for June 12th . No P4 email yet. Called NVC and found out over the phone.
-
We have an interview scheduled too!!!!! both parents are scheduled for June 12th
-
Anyone got a p4 letter yet?
not yet. Am on hold with the NVC now. Couldn't contain my curiosity (UK nutjob here .... LOL)
-
I just called to check and see if by chance they had an interview date for us. She told me that they had just scheduled it earlier this morning. She said we will receive the email within a week or so.
Congrats fellow UK'er. Seeing as you have been assigned your interview date and your CC is 16 days after mine I will assume that I have also been given one. I wonder when these emails will start coming in?
I'm hoping that emails will come this afternoon. Otherwise I plan on calling tomorrow.
-
Called this Morning and got an Interview date!! June 17th!
That's fantastic! Have you received an email with the date yet? I'm wondering if they will be sent out later today... Congratulations
-
any one have an idea when they going to start to schedule for an appointment ?????
is it the first week of may or may be next week
I'm wondering the same thing. Anxiously waiting for an appointment.

Monday is a new day. Here's hoping for some continued movement on the interviews
