yes Im K1 but I been here already more than a year so filing for k2 is not valid. Thank you , I made a huge mistake , I should let my husband file the petition instead of me .

Hi I filed petition for my 7 years old son last January 2016 and Im a Green card holder but I got email from NVC that I should wait until visa number become available which is more than years of waiting. Is there any way I can bring my 7 years old child here immediately without waiting years ? Thank you

Thank you everyone for answering all my questions before regarding being in 221g for 3months ! Im already here in USA now and happily living with my fiance.To all those who still waiting ,all I can advice is be patient and keep calm. Im almost losing hope waiting 3months after my interview but in Gods will ,everything happen on right time. Goodluck everyone .....

Francine, I was 22g for 3 months due to nbi issue. So far I'm already here in USA after waiting 90 day's after my interview. You have to wait for usem to send you a request for nbi interview.

Thank you for all your replied, My fiance just contact the congress office today and we are waiting for their replied. We are waiting way too long for our K1 visa . More than 3 months now and still AP status as of now. NO updates since 3 weeks. We felt our case was sleeping in a file cabinet. Hoping for the positive feedback.

Just curious if asking help from congressman really helps to move your case? Anybody experience here?

Hank is right, you can't get that letter from NBI without usem request for interview. I experience it, I have NO CRIMINAL RECORD annotation and I wait 2 weeks after my interview until USEM send that request. And another 2 weeks before NBI send it back to USEM. And another week before USEM process it. Why took that long? Have NO idea.

Thank you for enlightened me. I'm so down at the moment. It's really sad if things doesn't go the way you want it to be. I resigned my job in abroad since March expecting this journey would be quick and easy. Sigh.....

Oh your soooo lucky! Me and my fiance lives 8,700 miles to each other. We file K1 March this year, Did my interview July 18,got 221g for additional documents, submitted required documents August 10, and as of today still waiting. I agree with you, This waiting game is extremely the hardest part. I swear I don't want to be in this same situation ever again!

Yes true, this is the hardest part, I'm just jealous other's got approved after 3 day's while my case need to wait 3 months even I already submitted required documents they ask. It's really frustrating and annoying but like everyone said I can't do anything other than waiting.
