  1. Sorry to burst your bubble but considering they are not even halfway done with July this is more likely a random August approval.

Yes, but that's how TSC works. I guess all we have to do is wait to see if others are going to get approved.

Thank you! :) Yes, but that's how TSC works. I guess all we have to do is wait to see if others are going to get approved.

  2. Hello. We are an August K-1 Filer as well. Sent the package to USCIS last August 12, 2014 and got NOA1 on the 14th of August. On September 3, our petition was approved. As I check the status on the USCIS website, last September 10, they already sent the petition to NVC. We called the other day to NVC and they said we don't have a case number yet. We will follow up thru e-mail today. It's so hard to wait but all good things come to those who know how to wait.

    Congrats!!!

  3. Okay

    Can someone help me ...

My sister in law applied for the k1 as well

    They send her a letter

Asking her to fill a form

And to prove that she is intending to marry my brother when they arrive in the US

    WHAT I DONT understand is

Why are they asking for 650 bucs

And she has to give them an answer till September 21 ..,

Can someone help me out with this ..

She needs to follow the Step by Step k1 guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

There, they will provide a sample of the letter of intent that she needs to do. The filing fee for a K1 Visa is 340$. It's weird that they are asking for 650$.

  4. Hi,

I sent mine in last week Tue to Lewisville, TX and they are routing mine to CSC facility for processing. If your fiance filled out G-1145, expect a text and e-mail message from them with a receipt # on the third business day once your packet has arrived to the telephone number and e-mail address provided on the form. And then you can use your receipt # to lookup your case online. The next following business day or on the second business day it should say "Alien Registration Number was changed...". It will only show that online.

That is where I am at this point.

    Good luck!

Well, I don't exactly know for sure If my lawyer attached the G1145 Form, but I will definetly be Signing up for Text/E-mail updates through USCIS Website :) The good thing is that I have my sister to help me along the way. :jest: She'll be doing the stressing for me. lol

The check was cashed today. I hope things keep moving along this quickly. I'm happy about that.

That's great..that means you will be receiving your NOA1 pretty soon :)

Can't wait to receive my updates too.I know the long wait would be waiting for the NOA2. Hope TSC keeps it up..Also, glad that they're transferring other people's cases to CSC.

  5. Oh yeah! I never heard back from the contacts at USCIS, but I contacted my state representatives last week, two of them inquired as to the status of my petition on Monday and I received my NOA2 on Tuesday! :) Did she every get the issue with her case being sent to the NVC resolved?

Yeah, my sister did not hear from them either but they do follow up on people's cases though..Just think about how much time they would be waisting replying to every single e-mail. A lot of her friends who contacted them also received approvals. She says she's glad that you received your NOA2. Yes,after 20 days, she got her notification stating that her case has been shipped to the Department of State today. :) I should of have listened to her when she told me to file same time as her. Lol..Instead, I gave the Tourist Visa a chance, but unfortunately got denied.

  6. Welcome August Filers! let the waiting game begin .. enjoy the journey, it goes by fairly quickly, can't believe I filed two months ago, feels like yesterday! stay busy and try not to obsess each day, after all we will be with our loved ones for a lifetime in comparison to a few months of waiting

Thank you for the support!!! :) Will be patient I guess. haha

Hopefully all of the transfers of April and May petitions from the TSC will help to speed up the approval process for you guys so you don't have to wait quite as long as the 6 month average currently listed. Good luck! :D

Hey Caiti,,, my sister suggested on the February filer's thread about contacting those 2 people at USCIS...her nickname is Zach<3Katiuska...and She's wanting me to ask you, if you received anything yet?

Correction: My bad I just saw your TIMELINE lol Congrats

  7. I believe we have already heard from you here at VJ when you announced your sister Katiuskas' NOA2? :)

I hope your journey goes a bit smoother than hers did. She was a real trooper about it and we were all pulling for her.

Good luck and welcome to the community. :)

LMAO!!! Yes, Katiuska's case was pretty rocky itself..Her fiance Zach hired a lawyer and seeing all the other approvals before hers and all thos epeople get their case shipped before her made her worry too much! Lol! Today she just got her case shipped to NVC..Lol...But you have such a good memory and even remembered her name..lol..Thank you so much..She is right beside me saying Hii Texas!!Lol

  8. Hey everyone,

Guess either today or tomorrow my lawyer is sending in our package and I've looked through this website to search for a created forum for those who are starting their journey and filed this month, but yet, I don't see one. Just want us to share our Journey just like everyone has. My twin sister is almost at the end of the Journey...she's waiting for her case to be shipped to NVC and now it's my turn.

    Btw: I'm the beneficiary.
