My fiance received his Visa via courier yesterday! Wedding June 21st . Exciting times! Congrats to everyone and best of all luck to anyone waiting!

We called and got our numbers last week and my fiance was able to schedule his medical with the numbers provided.

Just FYI, I got my NOA2 on 02-Mar-2015 and I called NVC yesterday and they said they don't have my case yet. They did give me the spiel about the 35 days but it was after he looked it up.

I just got my text and email notifications too. My heart is pounding because I thought it was just my friend texting me about The Bachelor! So happy to be this much closer after a long wait. Congrats to all who have heard and best of luck to all those still waiting!

I understand. I am feeling pretty miserable about it too. It's so hard to wait this long to be able to get your life going and the lack of approvals lately is just unbearable. I think the weather may also be adding to the mood too

Does anyone have any tips for planning a wedding on short notice? I know we can't plan too far ahead as we don't have NOA2 yet, but I have been looking at venues, photographers, etc in advance just to have ideas. It's so hard not being able to plan!

I love this site! It gives me something to stalk while I wait! I met my boyfriend in February of 2013 while on a business trip in Cambridge, England. Amazing how you can meet the love of your life in such a random way. It was the last night of our business trip, so my coworker and I went and did some pub-hopping. I met Mart in the last pub of the night because his friend came up and talked to my friend . So, now a year and a half later we have decided to spend our lives together (although I feel like we knew from day one - cheesy I know). It is just very hard waiting when you wish you could spend every day with that person. I wish everyone on here the best of luck and a smooth and fast journey!

I just filed on Tuesday the 12th and am in somewhat the same position. We have known each other over a year and he has visited 4 times though and I've visited there (UK) once. We aren't officially engaged either but we also wanted to get the process started so we can be together permanently.

Do you recommend sending a money order or check when filing the I-129F? My checks have my old address so I don't want that to be an issue.

Also, has anyone heard of stories with no real issues? My fiance and I are just a normal couple who met in a bar in the UK when I was there for business. We both make good money and don't see any reasons for any hold-up. I am just sending our paperwork next week and was just curious.
