Yes, she got notice her rescheduled interview is Oct. 19th.

My wife filed December 2019, had her interview scheduled for April 1st which got de-scheduled. Nothing since...

Curious to see if anyone has had any movement on their N400 case at the Detroit Office? My wife had her interview scheduled for April 1st but was canceled due to the pandemic. Haven’t heard anything since.

Quick question regarding EAD/AP, are these always combined on one card?
-
We submitted my wife's AOS packet today along with the AP and EAD. We included 4 total photos, 2 with the I485 and 2 with the I765, we did not submit any with the I131 form. Is this 100% necessary? We have read multiple posts stating you do not need 6 total and others saying you do. If so, is it possible we can mail 2 more ASAP? And include a letter of explanation? Or should we wait to see if they send us an RFE? We are trying to get the AP and EAD approved ASAP and if we can avoid the delay by mailing them separately thats fine.

Quick question regarding the I-485 form AOS. Does my fiance need to be issued her SS Number before we can file the I-485 AOS paperwork? Or can it be done immediately after we are married?

Hi everyone, I am just wondering if anyone here has recently either gotten any response from the e-mail you sent (IV email at the Montreal consulate) or the visa was approved and received your passport in the past month or so?
I've been waiting for a month now, and seems like nothing has been processed... and I have to fly to USA in 3 weeks...
I am extremely frustrated, because the officer who interviewed us said that I should be receiving my visa within 4 weeks....
Have you tried contacting your congressman?
-
SAMACK, how long was yours in the 'ready' status? Ours just updated to 'ready' late this afternoon.
-
Its been 2 weeks for us as well. Still in AP.
-
Thank you so much!
-
What email did you use ?
-
Thanks! I'm just a worry wart! I know it was received at the sorting facility on July 4th ( I know the consult was closed ) but just wondering how you know if they ever actually get the doctors from there.
-
It seems to take anywhere from 3 to 5 business days before it gets from the remote mail location to the actual building, and then I suppose it has to get to the desk of the person with your file, and then they have to attend to it and send it off.
In my case, it was three weeks between my sending my stuff back to them and them changing my status to ISSUED. For some people it goes more quickly, and for some it takes longer, but 2-3 weeks is probably average for cases where you send them additional documentation and there are no complications.
Did anyone call or email to make sure documents were delivered from the off site facility to the consulate ?
-
We had to send additional documents to Montreal. We receieved conformation of delivery to the 'sorting facility' but does anyone know if there is an additional update given once the consulate actually recieves your paperwork? Our status right now is 'send documents'. Any additional information would be much appreciated!

Can anyone tell me what needs to be brought to the medical? Is it just the pmt and vaccination records? Thanks.

Just quick question regarding a Canadian police clearance. My fiancé only needs a 'basic police clearance' correct? She does NOT need to get the fingerprints correct? She obtained one and it just states her record was checked and it is 'clear'.

Yes nanna please let me know what happens! Thank you very much.

Anyone else find Montreal pure frustrating? You can no longer talk to someone on the phone and I every question you ask they give you a general answer.
I keep asking them if the NOA2 expires this month and we are unable to schedule an interview till April (earliest open spot) can they extend the NOA2? They keep answering with it is up to the person doing the interview.... Is this correct? I have read some people send in an updated intent to marry letter and they extend it. I have also read they extend it automatically. What is the real answer? And is there anywhere to check if it has been extended?
-
There are no interviews before the noa2 expires. I have read they extend that automatically? We just filed the packet 3 and the noa2 expires next week.

My fiancé just finished packet 3 for K1 visa and received conformation less than 24 hours later via email regarding scheduling her interview. In the email, It states that she is now ready to schedule her interview in Montreal as well as she will receive a date of her interview. She has created a profile on the state website and piad the fee. The last step on the site is schedule your interview. Does she schedule it on this site? Do we call to schedule like most people on here state they have done? Will she get one scheduled for her? We are just confused on what to do next and how to schedule the interview. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

We are at packet 3 step. Still have not turned it in. If my noa2 has a feb date on it do we need to turn in packet 3 before that date? Or can we just hold off a bit longer.
-
Does the NOA2 actually "expire" or do they just put a date on it to keep things moving along? I am asking because my fiance is not moving here till September so we are trying to delay the "process" a little while longer. I have read it automatically extends? Is this true? If not what do I need to do to get it extended. She is from Canada and we will be dealing with Montreal. Thank you!

At what point does the fiancé birth certificate get submitted for a K1 Visa? I do not see it listed as being required in any of the packets.

Does anyone know if Michigan gets sent to Texas for sure? I'm not concerned about re routing.
go over your N400 docs before the interview
