  1. You should be just fine, it usually takes a couple weeks to get the file from NVC to USEM and in the system. I usually tell people if they schedule the interview about a month out from when then get the MNL# all should go very well.

Hank i would just like to ask about the form I-134, my fiancé ticked the box "do not intended" was it right or would it matter

  2. Does Manila have to have your physical file after NOA2 approval before you can pay BPI and apply for Visa interview? I need to schedule interview as soon as possible. Paperwork is headed to NVC.

Once You received the NOA2 just call the NVC to get the MCN and when you have it you can get the MRV at BPI's website, print it and present it to BPI with your passport, they'll be asking for the passport number, date it was issued and the expiration. After 4 hours you can start setting interview appointment and medical at SLEC and filling out DS160. NO need to wait for them to send the physical file to USEM.

Aww ok. Thank you so much for answering my query.☺️

  4. July 31: petition approved; NOA 2

    Aug 13: NVC receipt

    Aug 15: NVC left

Aug 25: NVC letter hardcopy received

But until now i still don't have the letter from usem. :( i called usem earlier and they told me to email ivmanilareplies@state.gov.

You don't have to wait for USEM to mail you the file. Start getting all the requirements needed and start paying the visa fee, filling out DS 160, setting up appointment for interview and medical.

  5. How long ago did you get your MNL # ?

It usually take a couple weeks after receiving your MNL #, at most, for the file to reach USEM from NVC.

You can check the CEAC website that will list the status also.

Contact info, with additional phone numbers for USEM, is in my link below.

We got the MNL# on the 21st of August. Am already done with the medical and done filling out DS160 and already set an interview appointment. I just wanna make sure that USEM has the physical file already

  6. For those who recently got their nbi clearance, how was it and what are the steps?

I am a bit concern because i need to take 2 days leave for my medical and 1 day for nbi. Is there a chance that i have my 2nd day of medical in the morning and get nbi clearance in the afternoon?

Go register online first. Key in all the info needed and make sure to print it, go to any NBI branch and they would tell you to get a number for step 2 which is the payment.

  7. Hiedy said it was so easy, much easier than CFO where they didn't believe we are deaf. :)

She had one of the first appointments and was back at the hotel by 1PM.

She said the questions were routine.

    Fiance name

    how old

    what is his work

    how did we meet

how many times did he visit

    is he divorced

    how many children

Then they asked for all the documents.

She said all the consuls were kind. I guess it pays to have an early appointment.

Thank you. And am glad you'll be with her soon☺️

  8. We had the same situation with our bank and we did submit all the first pages of the statements showing deposits.

Hiedy attended the CFO yesterday, and 4 hours from now is the interview. Some of the things CFO wanted, they did not ask for with either of her sisters--such as bank info and a copy of the fiancé's passport.

I just made 2 copies of everything and sent it with her. That way she had paperwork for both places.

Hello, how's your fiancée's interview? Any good news?☺️

  9. What I did was go to the bank itself... asked for the Manager showed her a print out of what I needed and then together I logged onto my online banking account set the view for the last 12 months for each account (Checking and Savings) and she copied the amounts into the letter she wrote for me. So that she could legally "verify the amounts" and include it in her letter.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you for all the answers everyone. Am so grateful for you didn't hesitate to answer my query.☺️

Thank you and Best of luck to your fiancée on her interview.☺️

Don't even worry about bank statements, I never had any. USEM only wants the most recent tax return and W2. They will not ask for anything else.

Thank you. Hopefully they won't ask for it
