My wife has an interview at Islamabad (Pakistan) consulate in January. The appointment letter states to bring immigrant visa application part1 and part 2. We completed the online visa application. Does my wife need to print and bring the online application to the interview?

Alhamdulillah. I just called NVC and found out that my Wife's interview is scheduled at Islamabad (Pakistan) consulate for Jan 9th InshaAllah. My case was completed on Nov 14th. Thank you dwheels and all of my friends on VJ. Best of luck to you all

I just called and confirmed with NVC that our Case was Completed on November 14th. Last Scan date (check list response recieved )Sept 23. Yesterday (Sunday) saw AOS FEE change from paid to N/A. Took 6 months at NVC. Now awaiting interview. I wish everyone luck that awaiting a CC and congrats to other CCs. Thank you Saylin and everyone else that contribute to VJ.

Alhamdulillah Just went to NVC site and saw AOS Fee changed from PAID to N/A. I am praying that it is a sign of Case Completed. Last Scan Date Sept 23rd.

MY Scan Date is also Sept 23rd and waiting to hear the good news soon InshaAllah

November is my 6th months at NVC Received a checklist on Sept 11. My new Scan date is Sept 23rd. Hoping to get a CC soon

After submitting item on the checklist, our scan date was September 23 so we are looking at November 22nd

The photocopies of the original documents that go with packet 4 do not need to be attested.

Congratulations Zamsha that is great news!!! You have waited patiently for all this time insha Allah November will come fast. I have the same question- When did you send your Nikah Nama? Trying to calculate how long it took after you submitted the checklist items to get your case completed. Thanks

Walaikum Assalam, My wife sent the 3 items above by fedex today and so Insha Allah I will recieve them early next week and then forward it to NVC with the barcode. After that we will be anxiously waiting for case complete and interview date. Kindly keep us posted if you all hear back from NVC. Praying that it takes less than 60 days for NVC to respond

I need to get a certified english translation of my original Urdu Nikahnama to be submitted along with the original Urdu Nikahnama and Marriage Certificate as part of packet 4 to NVC. Has anyone used a Translation service company they can recommend? Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Yes that's correct I did not send Urdu Nikahnama because I thought an attested union council marriage certificate would be sufficient. I have an Urdu and an English Nikahnama both signed at the time of ceremony. Should I send the English Nikahnama to NVC?

NVC e-mailed a checklist yesterday for missing marriage certificate after waiting about 58 days of submitting packet IV. I infact sent the original marraige certificate attested by Union Council of Punjab Pakistan along with a photocopy. I called NVC Customer service and was told that I needed the original Nikah Nama signed by my wife and I. He further said that once its recieved, they will process the case for completion and interview. Customer Service aslo told me that I have to wait another 60 days for a respons. Does anyone have a similar experience or aware of NVC not accepting an attested original marriage certificate? Alos, once you recieve a checklist does it put you all the way back in the line.
