Most of the people here were issued wed and they got their visa saturday.

That's the normal process.. I had a 221g also and put me in AP for 3 weeks. Then case creation date was updated on Feb. 14 and status updated from AP to Ready open case on and then AP again on the 26th then the next day it says ISSUED. You're close to be issued. Congrats! Don't panic.

Ok, great. I read a post in regards to philippine airline needing an autherization to board. My last trip in January there were a group of sailors flying to new York for work and I was embarrassed at how the United airline personnel treated them also. They kept saying they needed authorization forms. I just didn't want anymore hiccups. So much excitement and didn't want to miss anything. Thank you

Hank,we have booked our flight now. Do we have to fill out any documents for travel as a philippino national flying to the US? I've heard there are forms needed to bill filed with the airlines 48 hours in advance.

Hi Oatmeal, greenbaum pretty much summed it up. Make sure to follow his suggestion. The Nbi told us we didn't need the one,even though we asked for it and It was posted in the guide on Vj. Instead of insisting to get each name, we took the Nbi suggestion which was," if you need it later,we can do it when the embassy asks" it cost us a 221g. Follow Hank and Greenbaums suggestions ok?

Hello Babylovej, we called the embassy today just incase we might get some info. Wish we had not. I think it irritates them,but...they told us to call each week if the status hasn't changed. Greenbaum and Hank have said it best. Patience. And they are right. I am sure we will be issued soon. It appears after taking data from other posts that things are done on a batch. Ready status at our dates should show something in another week if not this week. We are just thankful that this is coming to an end and we are about to start again once Maricel and Apollo reach the states. it will happen soon.

I just called the embassy to inquire for update and they said they are still processing. Hope everything is ok. Thank you. Praying that you'll get an update this week or better get issued.

After the embassy received the document,we stayed in AP for.22 days,then the case was updated to ready. We have been in ready status for a week now. Our case was not touched except when the received the document and then once on Feb 14th. Now we are just waiting

And praying. I know patience is everything now,but the anticipation of being together......

Needing to settle our nerves. Can you all post how.long you stayed in ready status before going to issued? Our interview was January 21 2015, 221 g for aka Nbi. Submitted Nbi and was relieved by embassy on Jan 28 2015. Our case was in AP.until Feb 14 when it changed to READY. It is now the 22nd of Feb with a holiday last Monday. I know.we rounding the corner but just need a little reassurance.

Thanks Hank. I thought CEMAR is the Certificate of Marriage and CENOMAR is the Certificate of No Marriage.

That's a good sign No worries, i'll pray that we all have our visa soon. I've been waiting for a month now. This waiting is taking forever.

I am annulled and I requested for CENOMAR and that was what they gave me. I also have my certificate of marriage with the annotation on the side. So technically, when your annulled you have 2 docs to request from NSO: Certificate of Marriage and CENOMAR which has the info above. When I submitted the docs after my annulment they also updated my form 5. I hope this help.

I'm glad that your NBI is ok now. As for me, I have sent my NBI to the embassy and they received it last Jan 27. My case was updated Feb 14 and status is Ready open case from AP.

Hi Maricel sorry for the late reply... I finally got an email from Manila, IV last Feb. 17.. (i'll just summarized it)

NbI written explanation of "no criminal record" or "no pending case" for **************. Please do not follow up your request with NBI. The NBI will directly forward the result of the NBI written explanation to the Immigrant Visa Section of the USEM.

So what I did is, I called the embassy hotline and asked if there is one more email that I should wait before I go to NBI, the lady said, that is the only email I need to bring. I went to NBI the next day, while waiting, I saw a girl holding a white paper. i asked if the letter she is holding is for NBI letter of explanation she showed me and i got surprised coz her letter has the specific name of a person whom she needs to talk with, mine doesn't have so i was kinda freaking out inside that I might brought the wrong one and go back home without any accomplishment. When we enter the IRD office and the staff asked me what do I need, I handed over him the email I printed out and then he told me what I brought is not the one they need. I had to argue coz that's the USEM agent told me to do.. then he explained to me, those letter who has the name of the person are the one's who has problem and need for Quality COntrol or interview.. On my case, NBI and USEM are the one's who needs to talk.. It's like a sign of relief for me, though I feel so "epic fail" .. Then on the way home, i read the letter again and if just I read and understand it thoroughly, I will not be at the NBI at 7am

I'm still in Ready status..it updates everyday I think... last update was Feb 17..

I was thinking so. thank you Hank. It's been 3 weeks in AP since we sent the requested Nbi on the 221G. It's just nice to see the case is now "ready" and "open". And on a Saturday.A nice surprise

Hi Genesis1, I was at SLEC at past 7 in the morning. I just present my receipt from SLEC at the guard and then proceed to 2nd flr. Then I gave my receipt to the nurse and waited for them to call my name. I had my Tdap at about 9:30 then they told me to wait at the lobby because they need to update my records. I got my updated immunization chart at past 10. Yes, you can call them and ask if they have it.

The case was updated today and states to check ceac after two days. My understanding is it moves to ready status then issued? Omg. Im gonna have to clean the house aren't I?

Yes, after my interview with the CO the guy at the releasing area sent me an email right away stating that they need an NBI a.k.a married name and when I got home I checked my status and is already AP. But

Hi Babylovejensen, I have the same case as i got 221g for NBI and i was interviewed on Jan 21 then the embassy received my NBI Jan 28. Until now my status is AP. May I know why they gave you 221g for NBI?

I was interviewed on Jan 21 and got a 221g for NBI clearance married name. The CO told me he's going to issue me a visa but he needs one document from me and that's my NBI a.k.a married name. I sent my NBI and they received Jan 27. They updated my case Jan 28 and it's on AP. Until today it's still AP, i called the USEM on Feb 11 and the lady told me they already forwarded to the CO for review but since they have backlogs so it will take longer. I'm praying that they will review all the case and issue all our visas soon. Goodluck to all of us guys.
