That's because I called the local respective office and they helped me to move the case.

I got my interview yesterday, and I passed, but due to the name check still pending, I have to wait still.

No decision yet.

and the I/O said my name is quite common that's maybe the reason still pending. 

She is nice and she told me they will call me next week to see whether FBI agree to get it down ASAP.

She even said she talked to the filed office director and agree to push my case.

yes, you're right. 90 days is not correct. there is no limitation for N400 name check.

and I am telling you, even I will have an interview June 1st. and still shows my case background check is not clear , so if that day, USICS get nothing from FBI, they will not make a decision. I have to wait again.

I just got another update from local respective office. They really helped a lot to get me informed. My online status will not change I guess. I will wait for my interview letter to show up. even they told me it is June 1st.

I am guessing , my name changed before and when I was born and they massed up my name at first and then my mom changed my name ,and after high school I changed again. maybe it is the reason FBI name check is taking so long. just guessing. But all my public records are my current name, I don't know how do they deal with name check part.

My case was mailed on 12th from NBC to local office. That's a good news at least. no update from USCIS case inquiry yet.

and I got this news from the local representative office. I called and requested to follow up my case and she helped.

Hope I will get an update this week or next.

I need use plan B now. N400 is pending, I751 is pending, but I need go to France to work.

since nobody knows how long will it take, I guess I will go apply the visa on my Chinese passport and wait there. When I get an update for my interview, I need fly back and reapply then.

I talked to the local office , they told me once the FBI done for the name check ,they will schedule as soon as possible because everyone else is done already. so it will based on your file date.

I went to the local office today, and confirmed I am stuck in FBI name check. so sad....

I don't know how long it will take and hope I can get it soon. And due to file under 319b, my husband is already in France, and I need my new passport to get the French visa, otherwise I hold my Chinese passport to get visa will be waste.

maybe my name is a common name in China, but I mean, easy to check, clean records.

It took me 10 months to get my CR1 while waiting in Shanghai. and I751 is still pending filed Oct 2016, due to the CSC's processing is quite slow.

and now N400-319b is name check....need blessing! 

You can check N400 under 319B, if you case is meet, she can apply for N400.

if not 319B, then For I751, I think you should do it anyway. and if she is working also, she can check apply N470 and I 131 to keep the records and good shape for keeping the GC.

I am on the same boat, I applied I751 and also N400 under 319b. still in the process now, hope I will get good news can share with you.

Also, let's not forget that they have been people waiting for 8 months or so. I think that is just extremely frustrating.

yes, i called, the girl said it is within normal processing time now, she suggests me to wait another month, if nothing still, call them again.

I applied infopass next week to ask local office what is my case.

same thing here.  Greer SC, only took like 4-5 months, and filed in Dec 5th 2016 and did FP on Jan13th 2017, after that, nothing. not even in the line for scheduling. I am waiting this to departure to France with my job transfer.

hope I can get news soon.

I sent the package on 7th, and CSC got on 11th. Check has not been cashed so far.

I have a question. Next April,(tight time)

I will go to France for work 2 -3 years, if I751 is still in the process. Can I apply i131 to show I am plan to drop my greencard?

does anybody know this?
