Agreed. I wouldn't let him know that you are attempting to report him or divorce him. Get yourself in a safe situation and then he can find out later.

I hope he gets sent back to Egypt. This kind of story makes me sick, and is the reason bringing our own loved ones in is so complicated and time consuming. I'm so sorry for all of your losses. What a heartless thing to do, taking advantage of you in the time when you most needed to be loved. I wish you the best of luck. God bless!

I haven't posted anything on this website yet, but I've been a member for quite a while. I've seen several things about being able to expedite the process at the NVC. I'm assuming this is after the AOS and IV packages are completely finished? I'm working on completing the DS-260 this weekend, and all paperwork should be at the NVC next week. Our lawyer should receive it all Friday or Monday. Then, after compiling everything, he will send it all to the NVC.

Is there anyway I can expedite the case from there? I was told that there is no way, but I've seen many people talking about it...

My husband's job is seasonal, and if he misses the hiring window, he won't be able to work in his profession for another year. I'm desperate.

We've been waiting over a year and four months for this visa. We are living in Myanmar now, where we met and have both been working since 2010.

Wow, I can't believe how fast your (and many others) I-130 was processed. We filed in April 2013 and are still waiting. Hopefully we'll have our interview here in Myanmar in the next month or two.

Congratulations to all of you who were able to receive your visas so quickly. For those of us who were not so lucky, we've got to keep the faith and keep hoping that our families and spouses will soon be united.
