Hard time about what exactly? Korean Air was some of the best service I ever got. So nice. Tell her to follow the Korean americans and follow the crowd at chow time. Then she'll need help to meet you at the gate maybe for her connection in the states to meet you at that gate or hopefully she can call u after customs.
Hard time getting clearance to board the plane with a one way ticket. I don't question their hospitality(one of the best i agree) but maybe the lack of knowledge involving her visa that doesn't require onward travel.

Thanks again. Also, i know its okay to fly on a one way ticket here but I'm a little worry that airline (Korean Air) will give her a hard time considering they may not know what a k1 visa is? How do i approach this matter if it come to it?

Thanks guys for the help and i think I'll meet her at her POE which is ATL and just fly back together to Florida.
Also i was wondering would they have a translator during her little interview at her POE?

Thanks to the VJ members, my fiancee visa has been approved, issued, and ready to be pick up on Wednesday. The 9 months of waiting was pretty bad- up to the point i wanted to quit my job and just move over there. Now another obstacle needs to be conquer. My fiancee doesn't speak one word of English and she never travel beyond the boarders of her country and coming to America on a plane by herself is a bit scary and taunting she says and i agree one hundred percent. Now the question is would the airline help her get to her gates even though she not in a need of a wheelchair or an elderly person? I just don't want her to get lost in airport.
Thanks

As I'm Looking through her birth certificate it doesn't list her parents names but her uncle and aunt who took care of her growing up when her dad passed away and her mom left( She later passed as well.) And on the G325a I didn't put her uncle or aunt name but her birth parents names which doesn't match her birth certificate. How big of a problem is this because she has her interview in a month? I'm very concern on this matter because can they denied her of a visa just because a birth certificate?
Any help will be great
thanks

Are case just updated to ready! So excited but i know the journey is still far from being done. Regarding Tax documents, it states online through the Laos Embassy packet 3 tax returns Information- "Most recent Federal tax return (Form 1040 and W-2)" Now the question is i don't need a "tax transcript" just a 1040 and w2? Also i didn't use the 1040 form to file but used a 1040ez to file, would that still be an acceptable document?

When things are looking bright then all a sudden life hits you with cure ball.
After one hour of waiting on the phone with nvc this morning, I finally got my case number and found out that it was in transit to the embassy as of yesterday. Things are moving fast and I hope it stays this speed because I'm not to sure about my job. The company is closing the department i work in at the end of October. They say everything is going to be fine but i know its not. There's going be lots of layoffs which might include me because I'm still the new guy. So i was wondering is if she doesn't get her interview in October while i still have my job and they happen to push it into November that means I'm going to have to get a co-sponsor or quickly search for a new job right?

**Update**
I called a few minutes ago to NVC considering its been a week since I'd received my NO2 and found out it arrived as of today. The Agent who kept the conversation very short and simple said that it could take anywhere up to 42 days to assign a few set of numbers, which i figure its not as a bad as TSC wait time. So yeah there's more waiting- I just hope we get to spend Christmas together.. Fingers crossed to those who are still waiting to be approve GOOD LUCK guys!!

Thanks guys!
Also how long does it take for TSC to send the file to NVC in order to get the other processing number?

 Yup.........Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mail it to the lock box and their going to forward it to TSC?

Considering the amount of time that the process is going to take and when or if i get a RFE, its going to tack on more time to an already long haul with TSC. Would it hurt if i just sent them a new one and which address do i mail it to, the lock box or TSC where they are processing my file?

So i was looking through the copy that I'd made and on the G325a form I totally mess up by writing the wrong year she was born. I know they might overlook it but i highly doubt it because 1933 was the date I printed in between the space and well a 20 something year old marring an almost 90 year old is pretty unusual, strange, and bizarre . That being said should I just send them a new G325a form or wait it out. I placed a copy of her passport and birth certificate in the package as well but i don't know if that's going to help. But yeah any information helps
Thanks

I didn't know you have to supply three years of tax transcripts during the interview. I always thought it was just last years tax and current income. Good to know though.

It doesn't matter if you have .56 cents in your bank account as long as you're a full time employer making above the poverty guidelines. The CO looks at the current income provided by the petitioner and the bank statement only becomes a factor if the your current income is below.

If a person with an Indian accent calls about any type of debt or Viagra pills it's a scam..... This scheme is organized in India and pretty much can't really do anything beside hang up or waste their time just asking bunch of question.
-
Well, I'm about 5 weeks into this process... It's discouraging to think how many more weeks I will likely have to wait before our petition is approved, but today I booked my tickets for a 3 week trip to see my fiancée! I'm leaving in a month, it's nice to have something concrete to look forward to! It's going to help a lot with the waiting.
How's everyone holding up?
Not so well... I thought I could really maintain my sanity during this time period but its just draining me day by day. Two months in this ordeal process and three months since we last seen each other is really kicking my butt. I'm at the point of fumbling the idea of taking a chance of just quitting my job just to be with her and seeing if my mother can be our co-sponsor. I don't even know Laos excepts sponsor to be honest but its beats getting divided by an ocean. Why did i choose to live in Florida LOL hahah

You couldn't get a subscription for Match.com or e-Harmony.com or you just wanted to be with a Filipino chick? Because not to bust your balls or anything but that website is full of girls that has the same common goal, "Money and America." A bunch of my buddies uses that site when their down there and they say its like picking grape from its vine.

Multiple DUI? Three, four or more?

Yeah....just keep up with your suggestions to the OP........You people are more sick than the OP's wife.
Mexico and Brazil are Extremely dangerous countries......especially to foreigners.
How would you feel if the OP followed your advice and that woman ended up dead...???
Keep on joking.....i that is what you call it.
If they can ponder up a twisted unmoral Idea like that imagine their personality in real life. And to the person that link her to being evil is just ridiculous and has a low standard on that word. When i think of evil i associated with the Sandy Hook School shooting, the albino killings or dismantling of limps in Tanzania, child trafficking world wide, the beheading from those sick retarded ISIS group and the list gets longer. All she did was hurt his feelings which he took the risk of falling in love. The moral and right thing is to send her home.

I met my wife in 2009 when I was working in the Philippines. I left to move back to the USA but we maintained a long distance relationship until I was able to process her K! and get her here.
A couple of days before she moved here, I received an email from a guy claiming they had been a couple for the last year and he was angry that I was taking his girlfriend away. My wife confirmed this as partially true, but told me that she had stopped seeing him months before. Her boyfriend said that was a lie, in fact, he used to sit there with her while she was skyping me.
I am an idiot, but because I had already gone through with the process and paid for both her dogs and her plane tickets. I agreed to have her come and see how things worked out.
When she got here it was very difficult for me to trust her so we waited until the last moment to get married, almost 3 months exactly. We did not get her SSN because, up until the last minute, I wasn't sure we were even going to marry.
The day after our wedding, I came home to find her on skype with her boyfriend again. I talked to him a bit and he was absolutely shocked that she was in the USA and married. She had told him she was with her family in Davao. We fought, we cried. She told me she was lonely and hated it here, but after a few weeks she wanted to repair things and we began to try.
Not having gotten her SSN within the first 3 months, we now had to file the EADs to get it. I work commission and we had some bad months and I was unable to pay for it until about 2 months ago. We went for biometrics 2 weeks ago.
On saturday night I got home from work and picked her up to get ice cream. While out, the boyfriend emailed me "control your wife while she is alone".
I asked her what was going on and she denied everything, but then he sent me copies of texts between the two of them with her saying I miss you and why are you ignoreing me. He then sent me 3 screenshots of the two of them naked together in skype. She admitted to everything but says its my fault because she was alone too much and I didnt give her enough affection. She has 3 very good filipina friends here who pick her up all the time. Id say she spends 3 to 4 days a week with them and even sleeps over at one of their houses a few times a month, so she definitely has people to talk too.
Over the last couple of days she has gone from wanting to seek counseling together, to outright calling me a selfish MF that is only keeping her here for my personal reasons. Yesterday I took her bank card and today she is telling me the reason she has done the things she has done is because of my treatment of her.
How do I get rid of her? I do not have money for plane tickets, it took me months to save for the EAD. Also, she has her 2 dogs that would require all vaccinations and plane tickets. I do not want to have her living on my couch for the next six months while I save for her and her dogs tickets.
She vows that she will not leave without the dogs and says the government wont deport her because there has been no "physical" adultery on her part.
Any input please?
And yes, I realize Im an idiot. So can we avoid telling me this?
Look at the bright side of this; at least you seen it with your own eyes, that she never loved you or planned to in that matter. I know it hurt like sh*t but it's better know then live in a lie because some people to this day are with someone who they think loves them. The only logic to this train wreck is to save money and send her and her two dogs back home. The next time you're ready to for a relationship, my advice is to fall in love naturally. Don't rush it by flying to a third-world country in search for it because places--- especially the Philippines, are the "Candy Shops" for wives that you wont find one that would say "No" to a relationship involving a chance in America.
