I was not able to complete my vaccination coz' varicella Vaccine is not available that time. I went to an accredited surgeon yesterday and they said I have to pay $200 just for the physical exam and filling up my i-693 form.

Does anyone know how much would it cost for the medical exam here in US? Do I need to undergo another physical exam? Thanks!

You must also do a Report of Marriage Contracted Abroad to the Philippine Consulate in your area so you can renew your Phil. passport to married name.

Married names in all the forms. You guys are already married so that will be your legal name from now on. Only put your maiden name when filling up "other names" used. Goodluck!

You need to get married first before the 90 day period expires. After that your fiance can apply for an adjustment of status. You can check the uscis website for the forms needed for the AOS, and that includes the work permit form. You have to pay $1070 for everything.

Hi. You can call nvc to ask for your case/mnl no. You can also ask them if they've already sent the papers in the Philippine us embassy. That's what my fiance did. if you have your case no. Already, it would be easier for you to track your packet..

My mistake, my fiance didn't use check in paying the filing fee.

My honey had to stop previous check, and payed the fee for that, 30$ if I remember correctly and yes, he wrote a new check when refiling. I suggest contact your bank if your check been cashed, if so, there should be 13 digit number written on it, that is what your NOA1 will give you... if you have it, I think you safe. Good luck!

Hi. It really upsets me because it's more than a month now and still we haven't receive our NOA1. When we refile does it mean we also need to pay the filing fee again?

If your check has been cashed, I would say it's to early to worry... it took them almost a month since then to give us NOA1. However if it hasn't, you really need to start calling and asking tier 2. My fiance was listening to a bunch of BS for a month and three weeks until they admitted they lost out papers and we could refile. Hope it's not what happening to you, good luck with your journey.
