My case was approved 7 months later even though the AAO processing time frame said 6 months or less.Hang there you should be getting a decision soon and I wish you good luck in mean time.

I hope you're right because it has been a long roller coaster ride for me and my dear wife.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if AAO send you directly a notification letter in case they sustained your appeal as they would in case they denied it?
I have received my case update that say as follow:
Application Type: I290B, NOTICE OF APPEAL TO THE COMMISSIONER
"Your Case Status: Initial Review
On July 31, 2015, the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO) transferred your Form I290B, NOTICE OF APPEAL TO THE COMMISSIONER, Receipt Number MSC xxxxxx ,to the USCIS office that made the original decision on your case. That office will mail you our decision or send you a request if it needs something from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."
My next question is that after reading this update, can one tell if my case was remanded to USCIS so they can give another look to my case and render a new decision or the case has been approved by AAO?
I Will appreciate any help.

The misrepresentation was not a citizenship claim but instead I made clam to a consulate to be mairied when in fact I was not. What was the misrepresentation ? If it was false claim to US citizenship there is no help , you are banned for life.

Hello folks,
My I-601 was denied by USCIS even though were able to establish hardship wheter my US Citizen wife goes with me or stay here in US,yet they refused to accord their discretion because of my misrepresentation; and we appealed USCISs denial to AAO ,but AAO confimed the district director denial of our I-601. I know we can file a motion to reconsider with AAO as one option, but I would like to know if there is any other option that we have beside keep filing a motion with AAO.Can we take our case to district court or to a court of appeal.

Why sometimes there's a long delay between when one filed and appeal of CIS denial of I-601 to AAO and the time AAO actually received the same appeal. I do not understand this delay given the that CIS only has 45 days to make their mind up as to whethe they want to change their decision or forward the appeal to AAO.I have seen case like this when the processing time frame of AAO was current which is 6 months or less. Can someone please explains this to me how CIS can still play a waiting game when the rules clairely state that they only have 45 days to make up their mind.
How can my child become a US citizen?

I have met this beautiful woman oversea and we headed off and became really connected with each other. She ended up getting pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful daughter just like here. I'm a US citizen, but she has no intention to move into US, let alone become a US citizen. Here's my dilemma, I want my daughter to become a US citizen even though she was born oversea to a non legal alien. I tried to gather some information online about how to handle the situation but I'm not getting a straight forward one. I will appreciate any concrete information how to do this. ...Thank you.
