  1. Brilliant news!!!! Congratulations!!!!! Hopefully smooth sailing for the rest of the process now! :-)

Congrats!! You deserve it after such a long wait. Praying the rest of the process will be smooth for you :)

Thank you!!!!!! There was no text or email... just status change! What a relief :-)

I think it was a senator's push.. I was approved 1 day after Senator inquired... Very-very thankful to them :-)

  2. Hi I have been waiting for 11 months this week, they say they are waiting on security check. I am going out my mind with stress and have got everyone involved but to no avail. It would be nice to know why it is taking so long, my partner and I have been together for 28 years (gay couple) involved definitely have a history maybe thats why. Any help

Oh... yours wait is way too long!!!! Did you try CIS Ombudsman? You mentioned you got everyone involved...? Did you get any notification of being transfer? I would've been really concern if you did not. Vermont Center transfered petitions to Texas Center in Q3-Q4 2013. I am not sure if they even work on 129F any more..

  3. December 3, 2013: NOA1 received

December 5, 2013: alien registration number was changed

    August 21, 2014 : ?????!!!!!!! still waiting for NOA2

guys I've been waiting for about 9 month's now for my fiancée NOA2 (I-129F)

I don't know what else to do to get a straight answer ,My Senator and I called and emailed UCSIS (CSC) we get the same response ..( background checks pending, pending, pending!!!!!)

I went as far as emailing the Associate Director for the service center Donald W Neufeld, and the Chief Operation staff Susan K Arroyo with no luck ! !! same answer ..( background checks pending, pending, pending!!!!!)

I have NO criminal records, not evening a traffic ticket ..... I work hard for a living..

just l feeling upset and down bout this case... did any of you guys waited over 9 months then got approve later on ??????

Hi! Totally hear you! I am not sure how to post a link, however below is the thread - some of us waited for 10 and more month. Unfortunately it looks like my reality too! Very-Very frustrating...

  4. It's our 223 days...I'm so tired of this process...this is a complete joke....

I decided to go visit my fiance...I need strenght to continue on this process....I hope there isn't any problem...I'm kinda nervous...what if screws up my k1 visa and all this wait goes down to the drain...

My fiance called USCIS last week and they said they r backlogged and currently processing dec 31st cases...kind of hard to believe though, so many february filers being approved...

senator said they filled a petition but had no answers yet...

I feel lost and hopeless..don't know what else I should do...

I wonder what was the longest a person waited for their NOA2..

I hear you! NOA1 from 12/26! 2nd e-response keep saying security checks! Will all get it... eventually.... Unfortunately some of us just later than others... stay strong! :-)

  5. Ours took 9 months filed in August 2013. But we had a happy ending. Just be patient. Easy words to say, but I know no one who waited as long as we did.

I filed in April 2013 and am just getting our interview on Sept 2nd...almost a year and a half...so hang on..there are many of us who have waited along time

I filed in July 2013 and am now waiting for an interview date. I waited 11 and half months for noa2. It will come eventually. Be patient. I don't think anyone waited as long as me.

OMG!!! such a long waiting 9, 11 month and more! Thank you for your words - and I'll keep counting days... :clock: Maybe this is going to be my lucky week! :-)

  6. I filed last November for my fiancé received my NOA1 on December 2 and was finally approved on August 1, 2014. my thoughts to you is to file service requests, call the service center and document it. Finally, schedule an appointment at your local office to speak to an agent. I followed all of these steps before, filing a complaint with the USCIS Ombusdman. Ombusdman should be the last resort because, you have to provide proof that you filed service requests. 2 weeks after filing the complaint, I got my RFE and a week later got my approval.

I hope this helps. I am pretty sure that you're next in line. Hang in there!

Thank you! I requested the Ombudsman's help. Hope it will help! :-)

  7. Just called the toll free number provided in their automatic reply. There is no one available to answer live, but there is an option to leave a message (which I did) and they would call back the next day. Р

Hi - could you advise if you submitted any type of documentation with your request? I've received an email today from CIS asking for documents. I am not sure if they are asking for NOA1 or anything else. Thanks.

It sounds like something was not uploaded - but I didn't even try... I was not sure what...

    ********

The Ombudsman’s Office has received notice that one or more of the documents that you uploaded in support of your request did not successfully load into our system. This could be due to a number of reasons, including server connections during the submission process. To ensure that we have all of the documents you intended for us to review, please respond directly to this email and attach copies of the documents you uploaded with your request. We will use your response to add any missing documents to our files.

  8. Same here. They did another service request for me today. I also heard back from my senator and congresswoman: they both got responses back from TSC that my case is still pending security checks and due to this status they cannot provide any date. I also filed a case with CIS Ombudsman.

Have you received any feedback from CIS Ombudsman? I've filed today - just wounder how quick they are to answer...

  9. That's really unfair :-( I presume you have probably explored all avenues of moving things along (senator/emailing people within USCIS). You know it is only a matter of time, but it's the uncertainty. I'm rooting for you!

Let us know as soon as you hear something, I can't wait to hear about your approval when it comes!! You and your fiancé(e) will be laughing about this in a few months time :-)

Yee... I did... Thank you for your support! :-)

You have been waiting longer than me! I am the winner among the Jan fillers..

218 days for me...cheer up! our turn will come....hopefully soon!

It will for sure! Just it is more and more difficult... before - we all had been waiting and I hoped for tomorrow! Now it feels as being left behind... As service centers reps are useless; Tier 2 - was useless, in my experience! NJ Senators - will see... giving them the second try!

  10. Have you filed an electronic service request? I would do so asap if you have not. The cutoff is 12/31 now so you fall outside what they consider normal processing times. You can also call TSC and immediately request to speak to a Tier 2 agent and try to get some answers. That will at least get some movement on your case and hopefully provide you with some information.

    Udachi!! :)

Spasibo za Udachu - I need it now more than anything else :-)

Yee, I did - twice. Security checks... unfortunately ;-( I asked Senators for inquiry - twice :-) 1st time in May they didn't respond. Trying again.

  11. Wait ur turn to drop of the cliff. I am ahead of u. 200+ days..... and nothing....

    Nothing for me either :(

I hear you :-( I think I am the only December filler left...

From and including: Thursday, December 26, 2013

To, but not including Tuesday, August 12, 2014

    Result: 229 days

It is 229 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date

Or 7 months, 17 days excluding the end date

Alternative time units229 days can be converted to one of these units:
    • 19,785,600 seconds
    • 329,760 minutes
    • 5496 hours
    • 229 days
    • 32 weeks (rounded down)
  12. Yeah I just called and waited for a tier 2… the lady was very rude to me. This waiting is really making me angry. Last week I heard from my congressman that….Your case was assigned to an officer and is now going through the required security clearance. These are done in a separate office, and thus may extend their initial estimated timeline of 30-45 days. I will check back with the TSC in 2 weeks for another status check.

And those 45 days are up tomorrow. I just am starting to get so depressed over this whole process, I had high hopes it was going to be much easier and smoother than this!

    I can totally relate...very frustrating.

    same here...

  13. Hi, it is a good feedback! I will try to call and talk with Tier 2 officer. Thanks :-)

I called today. Tier 2 was not helpful at all!!!! He told me to submit another service request as it is over a month from the last one... regarding security check it could take months or years to get a result! And that he could not see more than my status in the Web Site. What a BS!!!!!!!

Another request is submitted. Waiting for a miracle... incredibly sad.... ;-(
