I had my interview on 14 july 2014 ..got a 221g sheet asking to send in a police cerficate ,i did and still only seeing update from the 31 of july.send and email but no answer as yet. can any one advice me

NO ONE gets visa in hand after any kind of approval same day as interview. You will go into administrative processing in Jamaica.

I am happy for you ........I had my interview on the 14 .7 14.they ask me for a police record form the country i use to live in a few years before so they give me a 221g sheet and as me to send it to D.H.L. I DID ON THE 21 .7 2014 , On the 28 .7.2014 i got an update ,on the 30th we got another one and the 31 of july we got the last one.how long did urs took.what can i expect next plzzzzzzzzzz.

I am new here, and would like to ask a few ? I was given a white sheet of paper with the 221g that they need an form from me because i was living some where eles for a period of years. i did sent it in with my passport.and afer 10 day they updated my case twice.what you guys think is next...plz send me some good news..lol.

hello everyone,i am here to ask a few question?I went for my interview on Monday 14.7 .14.The consulate said to me that he dont see any problem with my papers he dont need to ask any thing and then he hand me the D.V. pamplet and said i might not ned it but i might ned some one who will .then he said he is asking me to send in a police record from the country i use to live before. ..now i am asking how long you think they will take to process my visa?.i did send it in.

I cant wait to hear from them too. they give me a white sheet too to send them a police record of the last place i use to live and i did.waiting on there reply now too.did you send them his passport ? or did take keep it?

Wow ..I am in the waiting here too. how long did take take to reply to you after ur fedex?

Could anyone tell me why my fiancé's visa is stuck in "Ready" status since July 10, 2014.

He had his interview June 27, 2014...Approved, issued a white 221g and need a few other documents which I fed X and they received July, 10 (when status went from AP to Ready)

I have emailed the Embassy and they say the following.....

Fiancé visa in final processing and we will be together soon.

Call me impatient but I've lost my smile......

I am trying to plan time away from work to go to Jamaica and fly back to the states with him.

My employer needs a few weeks in advance to request off....hoping for the end of August (wondering if this is wishful thinking)
