I'm a little confused and need some help. I'm trying to schedule an interview at the U.S. Embassy in Accra, Ghana. The instructions say to go to an Ecobank and pay the fee, but my fiancé went to two Ecobanks today and they both stated they take payments for all other categories excluding K1 Visa. So how am I suppose to schedule an appointment online if I can't pay the required fee? Has anyone filed a K1 in Ghana that can shed some light on what I should do? Thank you in advance.
Visa Types and Application Fee Amounts
The application fees are shown below and apply to one visa application. The application fee for the most common nonimmigrant visa types is $160. This includes tourist, business, student and exchange visas. Most petition-based visas, such as work and religious visas, are $190. K visas cost $240 and the fee amount for E visas is $270. Please note that visa fees for K applicants will continue to be paid at the U.S. Embassy in Accra on the date of your appointment.
