  1. Below is something I posted before here which may help, good luck to all!

No she did not mention her pending K3 Visa approval in her tourist

    > visa application. This is because coming from the UK all she had to

    > do was fill in a visa waiver form. This is a green form which asks

    > for all the basic details such as name, address, DOB, passport

    > number, and where you are staying for the duration of your visit.

    > Once authorized by customs this form is then separated in to two

    > and the smaller piece is stamped and stapled into your passport.

    > When you depart from the US this form is then removed from your

    > passport when you check-in for your flight. She was genuinely

    > visiting as a tourist on this occasion and she did have every

    > intention of returning.

    >

    > The customs officer did briefly mention her pending visa though. He

    > already had this information on file against her name when they

    > scanned in her passport and took her fingerprints, which is

    > standard procedure at LAX because she's been through it twice

    > before already. Although this was the first time since her K3 visa

    > application had been submitted. The visa was mentioned just once

    > and that was it, the customs officer didn't go in to any further

    > details. In general, she found the customs officer very polite and

    > going through customs only took her a matter of minutes.

    Enjoy

  2. Hello Everyone,

As you can imagine the K3 visa process is a nightmare.. Actually it's not a nightmare if you do things right

but it is however a very long process. Being away from my wife who lives in the UK has been a hard task for both of us. Although we spend uncountless hours on the phone (try skype.com to talk for free to anyone in the world) it was just not enough so we decided to give it a try and get her over to the US to Visit for 15 days. I have to admit we were both a little scared but we wanted to take the chance.

In any case she did get through without any problems. She was just very upfront about her visit to the US and did not lie to the customs officer. She told him that she was here to visit and see her family. When the customs officer enquired more she told him she was comming to visit her husband for 15 days. She brought along things with her to show that she did infact have a intent to return to the UK which the customs officer did not look at. I think that is very important you bring some type of documention showing that you need to come back to your home country when trying this..

    Important:

You need to show intent that you are going to return and that you have no intentions of staying. On top of that be honest!!

I hope this will help some people.. I'm not saying that it will work for everyone but it did for us.

We submitted her VISA app about 6 weeks before she came to visit and it was not approved as of the date she tried to enter. haha Actually she left here like 4 weeks ago and we are still waiting for a approval. We are hoping to get this in the next 2-4 weeks.

Good luck and make lots of babies!
