To be honest I wouldn't chance it. You could have a black mark against you and might come back and bite you when you apply for green cards/citizenship.

I'm not sure about using your nexus card or not. I received my visa in 7 days from Montreal. I did tell them in my interview I had a flight booked and seemed understanding. They email you tracking detail so keep your eye out. Hope you get it shortly

I'm from London, it took 5 total business days....Loomis on Whiteoak Rd did not call me first thing, so I showed up and it was ready the morning of day 6.

I had to have my MMR again due to the fact I was born in 70's they are recommending ppl have it re-done. I did not have to bring proof of chicken pox or have a titer drawn. oh sorry I had tDap given as well. Don't over think it like I did, my appointment for medical was in Toronto and was about 10 minutes tops....

It's nonsense I was told the same thing about my daughters SSN....6 weeks later after calling and calling, we went down to the office and asked for supervisor. Turns out they mixed her name up in their computer system, therefore they could not verify her identity. Instead of being honest when I called them 4 separate times they just led me to believe it was bc we were Canadian and they were waiting to verify identity. 5 days later as if by magic her SSN card appeared in the post. So do not wait go and ask for a supervisor. Hope this helps

Oh sorry one more thing when I crossed by car I drugged my cat he had a reaction it was horrible...not to say this happens a lot. Also the CBP let a drug snigffing dog terrorize my cat, the inside of my car got torn up.

I brought my cat with me from Canada I took him to the Vet there's a form online you can print and take. It lists vaccines and that pet is safe and fit to travel....just a note I would take cats to the vet the day before as the form becomes in valid within 24 hours. This was per my vet. The forgot to ask me at Toronto airport so I volunteered the info. Hope this helps

You truthfully do not need work auth to apply for SSN. I went with my passport, marriage certificate, license....no problem I had a print out that day, card came about 10 days later. Just a question how long did you wait for your work auth to be approved??

Do not take no for an answer! I had the same thing happen, I took marriage certificate, canadian passport, SSN....I explained multiple times that I'm permanent in usa and applied for a green card. The I-94 confuses them don't even show it. I would suggest trying another DMV and asking for a manager that is familiar with Canadians. I live in Florida myself so I went through the exact dog and pony show. Just go back minus the I-94 you are legally entitled to have a florida license.

Silly question everyone.......

Was I supposed to have any other documents given back to me at the border? I was given back my chest X-ray cd....but nothing else, the CBP said the rest of the packet got send back to the government. Now just concerned as far as sending in the medical for AOS packet. I believe I do not need a new medical b/c I just had one 30 days ago. Any comments are appreciated.....

One more thought...did you select a Loomis location? I had to select that first before I could get an appt, did you get a receipt for fees paid the $265?? Just trying to figure out why you can't book unless they are fully booked through December which I highly doubt

I got packet 4 October 7th, and booked appointment that same day for oct 30th, the calendar showed no other appt times after oct 30th until the end of November.

I paid the fees for the kids and I it have us a receipt and then it said to click here to book appointment date and time. I had no clue what I was doing the computer was promoting me. Wish I was more help if calling doesn't wirk I'm not sure. Also I was planning on adding my fisnce to come to appt.....I added him and his passport, it wouldn't let me book with him added, so I removed his name....and then magically I could book the date and time. Not sure if it's that or not

That's really weird right after I paid it took me to the next step to pick an appt date.....maybe they ran out of appt spots or something. When I booked for oct 30, the next appt date after that was nearing the end of November. I wish I had more advice but to keep calling them bc you should have been able to book right away, my credit card processed right away.

You have to pay the fee first, then it allows you to pick dates from a calendar. It should register that you received p4. Then it will allow you to book interview, if this doesn't work, there is a number you can call to book on the phone and pay fee.

Silly question, I'm in same boat however I've had no response to inquiries....they have ds160 and full packet 3. Should I be concerned it's been over 2 weeks, most ppl get p4 soon after p3???? It says "ready" on CEAC website and says I can book interview should I just ignore like my other VJ friend suggests? I will need meds after this is all done

How would they know if you mis-led any info on the medical form?

I called NVC for a week then one day she asked my fiances name and dob....which normally they told me they don't have my MTL#....she gave me my number over the phone then I was able to track my case. I'm not sure process for your case, but they told me it was a glitch, it took a week of calling before montreal had my information. It's very frustrating but rest assured you'll have info shortly just keep calling.

I had the same thing happen with my k1 visa..... I called and spoke to tier 2 immigration officer, and they said it was a computer glitch and it meant my case was moving.....

Keep calm I'm certain its just meaning your case is moving

I called Montreal everyday for a week until they gave me my MTL# then you can go on CEAC website if it says ready, then you can send DS160 and packet 3, then wait for packet 4.

I was informed at the police station if it is for immigration, or a visa a normal police check is not enough. I went to a commissionares and paid for RCMP check with fingerprints....even though that's not requested, I figured why not.

Going insane my visa journey friends.....

Got our approval sept 3..... Now today uscis site states we have gone back to saying initial review when it use to say post decision activity

What in the heck does this mean...have we not already been approved why are we going backwards?
