  1. I am pretty sure you won't have problems.

Since I started my visa journey back in January 2013, Ive travelled three times to California. The longest stay was for one month on my holidays.

Everything went smoothly the three times.

One of them I went to the US with my husband and no problems at all either. The only small problem was I got my passport control alone through all passport lines and had to wait much time. My husband went through the American passport lines and took only 5 minutes.

I recommend you to be prepared though. Bring documents to show your ties to the UK, just in case....

    Thanks for your response :)

  2. We've got flights booked for 23rd Sept going from Manchester to Dublin then JFK.

Won't be returning til January 13th unless I get my interview date, will they see this as a problem?

Really hoping they won't deny me entry but I don't think they will because my honest real intention is to return for my interview in London.

My wife is really anxious about the whole thing, who will be traveling with me.

  3. Hello people of VJ!

My wife and I are both in England waiting for my immigration stuff, both i130 and i129f.

Just wondering if there will be any problems in me getting in to the US because I have a pending immigration case?

I have a b1 tourist visa i think.... so i wouldn't be entering on VWP but I've heard if you get denied entry on a tourist visa you can get banned for 10 years?

My other half just wants to be able to visit her doctor really and just see family.

If you people can shed any light that'd be great :) thanks

  4. K3, sorry I think this is in the wrong forum.

It looks like you filed for the K-3 after filing the IR1/CR1. Chances are they're just going to be merged together,... as other people will undoubtedly tell you, K-3 is largely obsolete.

The good news is, by your timeline, it looks like you're a good chunk of the way through the wait.

You think so? We are so ready to move...

  5. My wife and I are tired of waiting to be able to move to the States, we are already married but have applied for the i129f as well as the i130f. We thought the i129f took a lot shorter time and could speed things up but it hasn't at all.

I'm looking at people's timelines and theres has been approved in like 70-90...

    Shed any light? Cheers...

  6. Hang in there...NSC is still going through older petitions and they are still adjusicating February. They are (from what I have been reading) transferring some petitions again to alieviate their backlog, so hopefully yours will come soon. My PD was 04 Feb and I just got approved yesterday. Lots of newer ones were approved before mine, which tells me that they are now doing some older ones (ours?). I hope yours will be approved in a few days. Good luck :)

Thanks for your response mate. This makes us feel a bit better.
