    I will join the words already said + I want to say that it would be weird if you were not nervous and emotional, so it's pretty normal I think when I am leaving the country, I'd be excited as hell no matter how many times I am told to try to calm down and relax get the most out of this week and remember that now almost nothing separates you two. 7 days will go by very quickly and soon you'll be in his arms!

    Wanted to update you on how long it took to get the interview scheduled. Today, my fiancee received "packet 4" which was the interview appointment letter. It is scheduled for August 19. We tried to be proactive once we got the NOA2. Pestered NVC until we got the LND number. Scheduled the medical as soon as we had the number. This was while the case was still at NVC. Once CEAC said the case was "Ready", we went ahead and submitted the DS-160 and the Readiness form. This was all before she received Packet 3. Then we waited. Also, we did put down a wedding date that was sooner rather than later. Can't say whether that works or not, but interview is only 11 days away.

    Long time lurker, first time poster. NOA1 was January 25, 2014 and we just got approved now. NOA2 July 24, 2014, almost six months from the first date. I hope you all get approved soon too.

    We just got approved!
    NOA1: January 24th

    NOA2: July 24th
    so it took exactly 6 months for us to get approval, we did contact a senator of Maine about 3 weeks ago but we dont think that played any part in helping our petition along (who knows?)
    hang in there guys i was really beginning to lose hope and then so unexpectedly there was the email! and for the record my fiance (the petitioner) got a text but no email however i got the email as i signed up seperately for the updates on the website.
    praying for more approvals asap!
