  1. Hi, i mailed my i-751 package on 09/22/2014 and 1 week later i received an I-797, Notice of Action:

"Your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year.During the one-year extension you are authorized employment and travel.(This extension and authorization for employment and travel does not apply to you if your conditional resident status has been terminated.)

In order to further process your petition, you will be receiving an application support center appointment notice with a specific time, date, and location to capture your finger prints, photo and signature. You MUST wait for your appointment notice before going to ASC for bio metric processing."

So, my questions are the next:

1.- Am i approved and they will just take my finger prints and biometric in order to start the production of my new card?

2.- When it says my resident status has been extended for one year, do they mean they will take 1 year to process my case?

    3. Am i getting an interview?

4.- Should i be worry about it? I am confused about this receipt, i guess i will just wait for my appointments and to be able to track my case status online.

5.- "if your conditional resident status has been terminated" i am confused, my actual card expired on October 10 2014, so know its been extended until 2015?

Again Thank you all for your answers :)

  2. Hi i sent my I-751 last Friday, my package got delivered on Monday September 22 but i still haven't got any information from the Immigration department.

I am going this weekend to San Diego and i am trying to find out if i can cross to Tijuana. My green card expires on October 10th 2014.

So my question is the next: Does someone knows if i can cross from Tijuana to San Diego if i sent my paper work to remove the conditions? Thank you :)

If someone can answer please, i really want to know if a can go to Tijuana this weekend, it will be painful to be that close from Mexico and not be able to go :(.

    Thanks again for any information!

  3. Hi, I am getting ready to file my I-751 and i want to change my single name to my husband's last name.

I've been reading that i can just write my husband's last name in the part 1. ( information about the conditional resident), and write my Single name in 2. Other names used.

I also read that as long as i send them my marriage certificate in the package, shouldn't be a problem.

I never changed my last name because at the social security office and the driving department they told me they need to use the last name that show in my green card.

    Please help.

    Thank you

    :)
