My wife (Argentinian & Spanish citizen) met in 1998 at work, started dating in late 1999 and married in 2001 but my wife received an Order to Deport several months after marrying me. We disputed and petitioned against the order over the next 12 years, having two beautiful children in the process and unfortunately loosing three more late in the pregnancy. In 2013 we had finally had enough and honored the Order to Deport. We chose to move to the UK to be in an English speaking culture, but would still have the EU benefits for the children as she is a Spanish Citizen. After going a year unable to find employment and going through our entire savings, we were forced to give up. At the same time, the USCIS had finally accepted our I-130 petition. So, here I am, back in the US with our two children but my loving wife of now 13 years is living abroad
