  1. What was packet 3 that you just sent it out the day before the Interview according to your timeline?.Im waiting for Bogota to give us a date.but have been CC for only 8 days now at NVC...case still shows in NVC on website......

Packet 3 and 4 are together. It just shows the list of original documents you must bring and how to go about doctor appointment. Also one of the packages shows a reminder to register your appointment.

Fyi. We received our son in the mail friday

  2. So after the medical apoinment with Dr monica, she decided to give my daughter's papers to my wife to take to the embassy, but my wife's paperwork is being forwarded directly to the embassy. My wife told me that she wast told that during the translation, they put her name incorrectly. I really hope this doctor does not make our appointment more complicated.

  3. Wait? A fingerprint appointment? Before the interview? I don't recall reading anything about that. Could you expand on that please?

you need to register your apoinment with the embassy, you Create an account, select your dhl passport delivery options and set up a biometrics appointment prior to the interview. I don't believe it has a cost but I am not sure yet as my appointment for fingerprints is next week. like, I will try keep you posted.
  4. Hi all! I'm a new here but I been reading most of your posts for a while. I've a question about sending the AOS and IV package. Do I have to Email them or can I send in the mail?

  5. Hello loveisblessing, you should only take this info as a reference, you have a long road ahead and patience is a virtue. Both uscis and nvc are obscure and will not tell you exact times, it helps calling them to ease you anxiety, you should base your time frame from a combination of both visajourney and uscis but nether will tell you when you are going to be approved. In my case, with nothing wrong on my forms, it took 6+ months. But many other people passed right by. Keep calling until you can finally be allowed to put your case to a tier 2 supervisor. But hopefully you will get approved before you need to. It is said that after 5 months you can get this option but uscis will do everything they can to keep you guessing. my thoughts to you is to be patient and keep your mind out of this as best you can. You will get your notification soon. Best of luck.
