I just checked my mailbox and I received my GC !!!
On another note, I still haven't received my SS card. I did receive a letter from my local SS office dated on Nov. 27, 2015, which said that I should receive my card within 2 weeks, like I haven't waited enough. It's been a little over 3 weeks now if we add the 2 weeks, it will be 5 weeks! Ridiculous!
Hopefully, I will receive it asap. it's been already 5 days since letter was sent, so not a lot left

My status was changed from Card being produced to "Card was mailed" and cannot wait to have it on my hand!

Just checked the status of my i-485 form and it was updated today!!!
Does this message mean that my interview was waived? If so, this is insane!! lol
I really thought I was going to get an interview since the previous update was "READY TO BE SCHEDULE FOR AN INTERVIEW"FYI, I already have my EAD. I guess this is the Green Card?

Received my EAD/AP approval notice yesterday! Next will be the card..
Good News!! My husband received the below email notification this afternoon! I couldn't believe it when I saw the email. It is also updated on the website. We thought there was some type of mistake and called customer service which told us that the Greencard will arrive within 30 days. I guess that means our interview has been waived! We were originally told that Boston and other major cities take a longer time to process the AOS due to volume. As of 8/31 they were processing AOS applications from 1/1. I'm hoping this is a good sign and that others will have their interviews waived too.

I've been on the "ready to be scheduled for an interview" since October 1st.. so you should be expecting to wait at least a month.
Me too for the EAD status
It's been on case received since August 25th.Yes, I'm just glad status changed, my main concern tho is my EAD, hope we get good news soon!

Hello! It's a bit funny, was typing my post here that I haven't receive any updates until my app notified me that my case is 'Ready to be scheduled for an Interview'
, I'm glad atleast I know now that my case is moving...But still no changes on my EAD/AP status(Case Was Received). Hope it will update soon also! Now 71 days from case received... -

I faxed a prospective employer's letter for a job and my empty bank account...lol..hands are crossed...hope they approve it...will notify my senator tomorrow...

There are no guarantees on the timeframe, but the average seems to be around 3 months from NOA. I haven't seen my family since early February, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing them. I'm not going to risk travel on the AP unless I have to though, rather have my green card in hand before I see family to make the process a little easier. Plus, getting a job is more important at this point in time, as much as I can't wait to see them.
Yes, you have your point, having green card approved is much better before traveling. For me, it will take awhile to get a job since i am pregnant
but i am also considering to find one that is homebased something like online work.. -
Yes, true, i heard some waits for more than 3 months, my only concern is to got my AP atleast before December so can go celebrate with my dad's bday, it will be like big reunion also for the family..
