My K1 case on ceac.state.gov says ready. I have done my medicals,police clearance,I have all required documentation. I have scheduled my interview for 11/5/14. Is there anything else I need to do or just show up for my interview? Do I necessarily need to email lagos consulate to inquire if they have my file from NVC?

What do u means by elaborate? Did the CO give you form 221g? If he did,then the form should say what you are placed on AP. You need to give more review of you interview-how the interview went,the questions you were asked etc for people to be able advice you.

Some familiar with how things are done at the Lagos consulate should please help:

* NVC sent my case file to Lagos consulate yesterday(10/21/14).

* I filled and submitted form DS-160 today(10/22/14).

* I have paid the $265 visa fee,

* I have done police clearance.

* I want to go for my medicals but I need interview letter/confirmation to show at the hospital for the medicals.(on hold)

My questions is:Should I go ahead and schedule my interview or wait for the consulate to instruct me to do so?

if you don't have call logs there isn't anything you can do now. Just make sure your print as many if not all the facebook chat history and all other communications between you and your fiance and present to them. When was your interview? when did they ask you to comeback with more correspondence?

I requested for this information for clarification sake,the form asked for USCIS number which I know it's the SRS number for Texas service centre,but I have read here where some people used the NVC's

GLS2014... Number. So I didn't really know which is the right thing

Please house,which case number am I suppose to use on my Form DS160? Is it the USCIS receipt number that starts with SRS...,or the NVC case number that starts with LGD2014....?

Your case is on it way to your consulate. Fill out form ds160 Asap and submit. Instruct your finacee/fiancee to go for medicals at this point. Get police report if you have not done so. Email your embassy/consulate to know if they schedule interview or they want you to schedule your own interview. Pay the $265 visa fee and go from there

I am the petitioner,my finacee will be interviewing at the Lagos Nigeria consulate. I have already mailed all required documents to her but I kept struggling with this thoughts of me going to the interview with her. I understand that the Lagos consulate doesn't allow petitioners to attend interviews, but I have heard of cases where CO requested to see petitioners. What do you guys think,should I travel to be with my fiancee and accompany her for the interview or isn't neccesary. Any Nigerian in the house with experience on this please help. Thanks

Any one with accurate information about lagos consulate should please help me answer these questions:

1- How do the lagos consulate send package 3, via email or regular mail?

2- what documents or forms do package 3 contain?

3- Do i need to schedule my own interview for k1 finacee visa or the consulate will do this for me?

4- If i am to schedule my own interview,at what stage should i do this? after medicals or before?

5- Where do i pay the $265 visa fee? At GTbank before interview or at the consulate on the day of interview?

6-How much do i need to pay at Ikoyi police for the police clearance

On 8/12/2014, I submitted an expedite request for my fiancee's I-129F to the texas service center. I received a mail on 8/26/14 from USCIS texas services center that my expedited request was granted and I should expect to hear from them for an approval. I waited until 9/02/14 and didn't hear any thing from these guys,so idecided to called the customer service number and an inquiry request was put in for me. On 9/6/14 I recived and email reply that stated I should hear from them within 10 days. I waited until 9/18/14 and still haven't heard any thing. Does it mean the Texas service center just give out time frame without really honouring them or this is just usual with expedited cases? Anyone with similar experience. Its more than a month for an expedited request to be approved.

I am a February 2014 K1 filer. I sent in my I-129F on February18,2014. I received NOA1 on February 26,2014 but I haven't receive any notice about alien registartion number change. I noticed that every pertition have received this notice few weeks or even days after NOA1.. Do i have any reason to worry? Is there anyone who has similar issue? Thanks for your response.
