  1. Hi,

I'm almost done completing my DS 260 application but there is one question that I'm still pondering about.

It's the : " Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law? "

I should answer "Yes" to this one right?

I have this International certificate of my vaccinations. I haven't had all the ones I saw have been listed as ones one should get when coming to the USA. But I have all the ones that have been advised for my country (Finland).

Does anybody have any experience on this? Did you have to get more vaccinations or all the vaccinations that are listed here below in order to get your visa?

    • Mumps
    • Measles
    • Rubella
    • Polio
    • Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoids
    • Pertussis
    • Haemophilus influenzae type B
    • Hepatitis B
    • Any other vaccine-preventable diseases recommended by the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices

Thank you very much for the help!!!

    Best regards,

    M

  2. I had to put in close to 30 addresses on my DS-260, not even counting where I put my parents' address 8 separate times for whenever I stayed with them between apartments when I was younger.

Any place you stayed during a vacation you could skip. But for your working holiday in Australia, if you remember every address, there is no harm putting them all. You can also try putting one entry for each city that you stayed in AU and put "cannot remember" or "various" for the street address and then explain in person at the interview.

But again, if you remember all the addresses, apart from taking some time, its best to put them all in.

    HI!!

    Thank you for the help!

I'll then put all the Australian addresses that I stayed in and explain more in the interview.. But, now, I'm just wondering, as I was in Australia for just under a year (3 days less than a year), in the form they only let you fill in the month and not the exact dates. So, it means that I was then in Australia for a year according to the form, which, if I've understood right, means that I need to get a criminal record from Australia? Or do you think that I can explain in the interview that I wasn't there a full year and so I don't need to get one?

Thank you again!! I really appreciate it!!

    Best regards,

    M

  4. Hi,

I'm trying to fill in the Diversity - DS-260 form online but I'm having trouble with the previous addresses part..

I know, that I should only fill in the addresses that I have registered in since I was 16 years old, but still I'm not sure how to fill in the times that I was travelling and moving around.

For example, I did a working holiday in Australia back in 2005. There I never officially registered into any address, I just travelled around and worked in different places (for a maximum of 2 months in one place). So, should I just write down my official address during that time (the one back home in Finland) , even though I was physically in Australia? If I start writing down all the addresses that I stayed in in Australia, there will be over 15 addresses or so.. and also there will be over 50 addresses since I was 16 if I start filling in all these

places that I have stayed in during these years.

This is really baffling me and I would really appreciate any help!! I've tried asking the embassies for help but nobody is giving me an answer. .I really don't want to give wrong information in the application. accidentally

    Thank you in advance!!!

    Best regards,

    M
