To the Original Poster. Today our status changed to "ready".

I understand. My fiance had her interview on the 29 October. She received a 221G for the Birth Certificate not being on the new paper or something to that extent. She went to the NSO and ordered it. The Consulate received it on the 31 October but sent us a message stating that they received the docs and our case as been forwarded to the CO again on the 13th.
Its frustrating.... So from what i'm reading is its going to be about a month or so. But, the question is is that starting once they receive the case again or not.
-
Just an update.. Still waiting on some approval or something. After we sent the new BC in they finally sent her an email saying that the CO will review it. So, anyone know what a time frame may be... the wait is horrible...
-
Yea she had the wrong version basically and had to order a new one

So, on Weds my Fiance went to her K1 interview (Manila) and was told that she needed a new Birth Cert. The NSO said the Consulate/Embassy picked it up on Friday. So, Whats next.. Is there an estimated time that we should be approved? Or some type of timeline.
Thanks

My fiance went and had here interview last weds. But, received a 221 because her birthcert wasn't the updated one they use in the Philippines. The embassy picked it up on friday. The CEAC website status dates were updated on the 29th and the 3rd but still is in AP. So whats the time frame to actually get the Visa approved and shipped? Any estimates or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

My fiance had her medical appt already. She is scheduled for her interview in two weeks. But she hasn't received anything from the embassy on forms she has to fill out and all that. How long does it take to get that from the embassy? Our file was sent to manila around the 2nd of Oct.
-
Apparently according to my google search.. Seems that alot of people that scheduled their appts yesterday got the same message.
-
Have you completed more then one DS-160, maybe from a previous visa
That was the only one she has done
-
We received this on the confirmation screen?
PLEASE NOTE THAT ONE OR MORE OF THE DS-160 NUMBERS USED TO SCHEDULE THIS APPOINTMENT CAN NOT BE VALIDATED.
INCORRECT DS-160 NUMBERS MAY LEAD TO A DELAY IN BEING PROCESSED. -
On the St Luke site it states we need:
3 copies of NVC letter/email when MNL# is assigned ( SLEC requires the NVC letter/email OR the appointment confirmation letter from the embassy that lists the beneficiary's name ).
Since she hasn't received the Letter yet from manila (package just was sent yesterday). How far out should we schedule the interview?
-
Today I spoke with the NVC and they issued us the Case number and said that the package was sent to manila today. So whats next?
Do we wait for her to receive notice from Manila? We have started the DS-160 online and the Scheduling form. Do we wait until Manila receives the package to schedule and pay for Visa fee?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
Are we told the interview date or do we choose the interview date for the K1?
thanks

checked the guide thanks for the answers.

Thanks guys. I am going to try to obtain that info. Its just that one divorce that is in question and the divorce decree doesn't have that info on it.

My question is:
Does an engagement ring matter in this K1 process for proof of anything? I havent bought an engagement ring yet and I am filing for the K1 visa for my fiance.
Just curious.

I am filling out my (petitioner) G-325a and I have two questions?
1. I cannot obtain the birthday and wedding date of an ex wife can I just put Unknown?
2. On the addresses for the past 5 years I cannot find one of them. I am in the Army so could i just put my Unit and Base info of where I was located at that point?
3. Is there a way to expedite K-1 Visa's due to being in the military? We are doing the visa due to it takes me currently about 4-6 months just to get an approval to go back to the Philippines to visit my fiance?
Thanks for any assistance.

I may be taking a teaching job overseas for Department of Defense. I was curious if we are living abroad working for the government will that have any effect on my wife getting her citizenship or keeping her green card due to us living abroad.
Thanks in advance.
