Where did you hear about a PIN number? SOme embassy's require a receipt number that the visa interview and processing is payed for. Some that offer electronic booking require a verification number from this booking process that is given by the system and called a UID number. I'm not familiar with the Colombian process, perhaps you should post this in the embassy specific forum Good luck

Thanks for responding. She asked about the PIN number for the payment. I never knew about this and neither of us received an email about a PIN. I'll have her call the Consulate tomorrow.

Is my fiance suppose to receive a PIN number? She's really nervous right now and I did not get any information regarding the PIN number. She already has a date for the interview so I'm assuming that everything is fine.

Thanks for the responses. If I do the K-1 visa, how do I go about acknowledging the pregnancy? I've also read about a special birth certificate where my child can get an USA passport. Is there any truth to this?

I was planning on filing for the fiance visa for my fiance but we found out last week that she's pregnant. Will the spouse visa be the best option? Has anyone experienced an unplanned pregnancy in this situation?
