Can I still use it to adjust ? or I need to get a newer one from my doctor.

No, you will call them and they will upgrade your case to Immediate Relative of USC then you can file I-485 with your spouse I-130 approval letter. You will receive 10yrs GC by then.

I got a letter from NVC( national visa center ) start with " your immigration visa petition is now eligible for a further processing at the national visa center you will need the following identification number to carry out the nest step in the immigration process"

Dose that mean my PD is current ?

-130 approval is only first phase, and it doesn't mean you are able to file AOS. Second phase is at NVC. You will need for a visa number available for you to file AOS because you are spouse of LPR, which visa is not available immediately. You will wait at least a year and a half to be able to file AOS. F2A Priority Date has retrogressed backward recently.

You MUST maintain your status while waiting for your visa number, IMHO, your spouse will become USC by then.

if my wife get citizenship. do i need to wait for PD to become current ?

1. If you are currently here legally and you will maintain your status until PD, yes you can file AOS with approval receipt when your PD comes.

2. If you are out of status for a while and you are in the States, you can't adjust status here. You can leave but barred time might already be applied for you already, depending on how long you have been out of status. You can wait to AOS until your spouse becomes US citizen.

i-130 was approved in aug. 2013. i think all PD are current and ready to file i-486 for F2A. is that correct ?

i filed i-130 only and it was approved in aug 2013.

it was on basis of marriage to LPR.

now I want to upgrade my i-20 to PhD level program. coz i finished i-20 for Master on May 1, 2014.

I have filed i-130 in aug, 3013, and it was approved. I have graduated from school on May,2014, and I was accepted for PhD. Today I was contacted by the international office at my university telling me to provide them papers to update the status of the SEVICE to PhD student and issue another i-20. I have been highly worried they might not issue another i-20 as records indicate that i-130 was approved in aug,2013. although it says on the Master I-20, that student expected to complete studies no later than Jan,2015. Dose that mean I-20 will end on Jan 2015?

tax return for just last year ?

I couldn't really find sponsor. my mother in law is a sit home old woman and her son just working at department store with a little salary. my wife is a cancer survivor and sit home too. I am the only one that receive monthly 2k of overseas scholarship funds.

Can the joint sponsor be a friend ? who is not in the household ? like a Professor.

Do I need the income tax return for the sponsor ?

So if I don't tax it, it won't considered as income ? .. I read else where you can always use annual allowance as income because they already tax it before they give it to me. im confused here.

scholarship pays for everything. including an annual payments greater than 125% the poverty line.

but the issue is, I never taxed my income as am receiving these payments from overseas.

for long run prove of income, I have a financial guarantee that ensure the payments will continue for at least a year.

why I can not be a joint with my wife and I been receiving funds for over 3 years, and I can show them I already got prove that its going to be there for for at least a year plus extension. also I have gained Master degree from a university in the state. can't that be enough?

I am on f1, married LPR 2 yrs ago. filed i130 got approved. now trying to file for i485, but my wife ( petioner) don't work for tow years. and we both rely on a scholarship funds comes from my country that is not taxibe. also, i have never filed tax income returns in the states during all my stay in the US.

I am not sure how to file i864. jointly with my scholarship fund being not taxed.
